“Above average chain”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

We have been to the RAM in Salem OR, University District in Seattle and now the one in Issaquah. This is a new restaurant, so nice and bright, well done interior. The wait was like 60 min on a Saturday night at 7PM, but our friends had called ahead and made a reservation so we only had to wait like 15 min for a table. Service was prompt, good selection on tap beers. The food is typical of the RAM, so no issues, well prepared and served (its bar food so it is what it is), we enjoyed, we will be back

“Not what we expected. ”
Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

We went last night to check out this newly opened pub in our area. Seriously hope that the poor experience we had is only due to its recent opening and not their usual standard of service. Firstly this is not a pub it's your standard restaurant with ALOT of tvs.
The initial swarm of people waiting for tables that greets you is overwhelming. It was hard to even get to the hostess station. We were told they would text us when a table would be available thankfully there are places to go to waste time (and in hindsight another restaurant was probably our best bet)!
Our server was very friendly but very overwhelmed. Took him a while to take our order and even longer to bring glasses of water.
The food when it turned up was very unappealing and with this I'm saying horrible. I'm thinking this is how they make their burgers. Grill the burger when it's ordered do it's hot then place it on a cold grilled bun, cover it with cold grilled bacon, soggy lettuce and far too much sauce. Place another cold grilled half bun on top. Place on a cold plate with a very mediocre amount of cold fries. Come on guys the food should be hot, all cooked at the same time, assembled quickly and delivered piping hot! We were quick to leave and not in any hurry to go back.
The only two pluses I can see about Ram, their signature brewed beers are good and there's lots of parking... Not to mention a lot of alternative restaurants in the area.
Hope a manager reads this and initiates a few changes or it will be another failed eatery in the area.

“Pub that's Kid friendly? YES”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

I and my wife, our daughters with two children age 11 and 9 went here to celebrate our grandson's 11th birthday. It was his choice. The restaurant is large and very sports bar oriented. I was concerned that this would not be a place for children. Just after we had consumed an excellent appetizer a magician appeared at out table. He performed some amazing tricks and the children were fascinated (as was I). He performs every Tuesday during the dinner hour. He also makes a special effort to come to tables with children. My grandson said it was the best birthday dinner he has ever had. Any child from 4 to 14 will love this place

The ambiance was high end pub style. Lots of TVs tuned to sports. Huge bar area. The food was very good and there was certainly a nice selection of items other then burgers. Expense was moderate. There was a long wait list for tables but you can call ahead and get a spot in line. Dinner on the patio in summer would be great with a westerly view to top it off

This entire business area is very new. Maybe the last two years. Quite easy to get at from freeway or surface streets but on the edge of Suburbia. I know that our grand kids will be dragging us back there often.

“Excellent hamburgers and appetizers + beer”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

Went to The Ram with family and really enjoyed their appetizers, hamburgers and beer selections. The service was very efficient. Their TV set all around the place makes the sport fans (my teenage boys) happy. Good place to go before or after the movie (nearby). Call them to be on their waiting list before going, this will save you waiting time...
