One shouldn't expect a fish place where the food comes in a basket and you order at the counter to be gourmet, and certainly OleBob's isn't. (It's "Ole" Bob's not Ol' Bob's; I asked.)
On the other hand our order of cod and chips was very good. The fries were perfect, the fish was not the slightest bit greasy, the coleslaw was excellent, and a glass Mt Baker "Oyster Blanc" was terrific value at $5. That's a combination one doesn't find just anywhere. The coating of the fish had a bit too much corn meal or something, or I'd have rated this place excellent. My wife and I split an order for lunch and it was exactly what we wanted.
I noted they are open until 4 weekdays this time of year being the off season. Maybe in summer the hours are different.
