My wife and I were visiting family in the Hoquiam/Aberdeen area for Thanksgiving and needed somewhere to stay. Obviously we chose the EconoLodge. The owner was very nice and welcoming when we checked in around 3:30 on Thanksgiving day. We chose a queen size bed room option and were happy to be placed on the 2nd Floor. The roof has an A-frame so the room felt larger than you'd expect. It had a couch, a fridge, a TV, etc. It didn't lack anything.
I'd say about 20 cars were in the parking lot when we came back around midnight, so we knew we had some neighbors. It was really quiet until about 7AM when people were waking up/shutting doors. Again, to be expected. All I wish I had was a fan to create some white noise.
We would stay here again. It felt like a nice place to stay for a night and didn't cost us over $100. I've always enjoyed the Aberdeen/Hoquiam area and I hope it can continue to get better; places like this help.
