This place was beautiful! We stayed in the smaller lighthouse keepers house, which was very well appointed. Just beautiful to watch the sunset from the nice front room window.
Bed was pretty comfortable, nice restful living area. The walk from the beach around the point and back to the lighthouse was only about 1.7 miles. Lots of steps though!

Point No Point Lighthouse & Park is truly picturesque. Stand anywhere on the beach along the shore and the view of Whidbey Island across the Puget Sound literally looks like a grand landscape painting come to life. The area is calm and therapeutically relaxing, the people are kind and friendly, and Hansville as a whole is simply wonderful. While there we saw families really enjoying spending quality time together, fisherman peacefully fishing along the coast, couples romantically walking along the beach past the Lighthouse...it was beautiful.

Though we did not get to see the Orca's or large Humpback Whales we were hoping to see (you generally can see them from the shore beginning around the Fall & Winter), our time spent in Hansville was truly unforgettable. One of the cool things about staying near the lighthouse was, it's literally minutes from the Edmonds / Kingston Ferry. You can be in downtown Seattle rather quickly (traffic permitting).

If you're planning to visit Seattle anytime soon and want to avoid all the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, I'd highly recommend staying in the peaceful scenic area of Hansville....make sure you visit the lighthouse around sunrise and sunset...trust me you won't regret it..:-)

We love this beach park. It is off the beaten path and a great place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It is beautiful scenery and not far from town so you can still do other things with your day after the beach

Point no point is on the straits of the Puget sound. Clear says you can see across the water to whidbey island, port Townsend and beyond. A nice 1 mile trail takes you to the bluff overlook in a tree area. At low tide it's fun to walk the beach and watch the kids and fisherman enjoying their day of relaxation. They have upgraded the bathrooms from portapotty to nice pit toilets. And the secondary parking lot provides plenty of parking. The beach is easily accessible and the water is calm for wading and water fun. A must for family fun

The light house is one of the smallest I have seen. We were fortunate to have had an access to light house when we went there during weekdays when an employee had a meeting and happened to have the door open and allowed some people to enter.

Then took grand children to the beach for quick dip in “very cold” water. This beach have sand where the others in this area have rocky beaches. There were dolphins swimming near. Over all, we all had wonderful time. One wish we had for this beach was to have an access to water to wash feet before getting back in vehicle.

Cute little lighthouse. We enjoyed the visit, but not a lot for a teenager to appreciate. No concessions or gift shop.

Stopped in to see the K Pod of resident orcas swim by. Took photos and enjoyed the experience. The lighthouse is beautifully and impeccably restored. No one was on duty for a tour today. 11/10/17.

I spend a lot of time walking the beach from Point No Point to Norwegian Point with my 2 Aussie Shepherds. The territorial view from the beach is stunning. Watching the gulls, seals and otters in this natural setting is something that builds wonderful memories, especially with grandchildren.
The secret to Point No Point is to go out to the right of the lighthouse and there is a small opening to the beach through the rocks. Once you are on the beach start walking down the beach to your right. These are all kinds of wooden shelter (forts) that people have built to explore and the quietness is wonderful.

As an avid lighthouse lover when I heard of this site not but 30 miles from where I was staying, it quickly became a must see. The drive out was scenic. Especially as it went from rain, to sun, to overcast and a bit more drizzle. The light house settled on the end of the point gave me a quick history lesson on the area. I was most impressed with the story boards outlining how young S'Kallam tribes are learning about their roots and continuing the their heritage.

On the back side there is a small trail which takes you into the hill and what seems a world away from reality. From an errant black raspberry bushes to felled trees covered in moss, you can really center yourself here on the trail.
