“Great trail to bike, run, walk, stroll”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

I love cushman trail -- i must admit in town it can be hard to find where the connections are ... but it takes you across the tacoma narrows bridge from gig harbor and is very nice. there are some streets and cars to deal with along the way -- but where it is trail and no cars is the most pleasant.

“Short but Sweet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012

Not a long trail from a cycling perspective, but offers some variety with a couple of hills with 8 and 10% grades. Cyclists need to watch out for pedestrians and vice versa. Dogs are supposed to be on leash but beware that some owners try to get away with letting Rover run. There are benches in both sun and shade, good for a moment or two of meditation or reading along the way. Cyclists should also watch out for grass clippings on the asphalt when mowing is in progress--this can make the surface dangerously slippery.

“good trail but wish it was longer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2012

The trail is about 10 miles one way and you do have to jog through the city streets to get from one part of it to the next. The last half of the trail has some pretty decent hills wish is great for training.

“Great variety”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2012

Trail is about 6 miles from beginning to end with great change in cardio workout from reasonable flat to challenging hills. Trail is well maintained throughout the year. Parking is available at various locations to allow you to plan the section of the trail you will take.
