One of our daughters gave us a gift card for JW or we would probably never known it was there. Tucked along the shoreline in Gig Harbor and currently afflicted by road construction the restaurant is not distinctive from the outside. The inside space is limited with probably no more than 15 tables. However upon entering we were immediately met by a cheerful server who showed us to our table and brought a complimentary tasting of the wine of the day. Eschewing the modern practice of book-length menus, JW offers a limited selection of fresh appetizers, salads, and entrees that should offer something for most palates. The triple brie with crostini appetizer was sinful, the spinach salad delicious and the pork tenderloin perfectly tender and flavorful with a semi-glace mushroom sauce. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and service. A fine meal with a walk along the harbor afterwards - we will be back.
