We were going to dine at our "go to" restaurant across the street and the parking lot was full, so we saw the sandwich board across the street for The Harbor Inn. They were advertising, New Menu & Lower Prices. So we thought we would try it.
This is not really a restaurant, but a hotel lounge. When you walk up there is a sign at the hostess station that states, Please Seat Yourself. This is on a Friday night during the dinner hour. What is this? Denny's? There are a few high, bar tables, booths along the walls and several small tables bunched in the middle of the room, plus seats at the bar.
The ambiance is terrible.
The food was remarkably good. The bread excellent. The salmon cooked well, and the sauce was very nice & light. The service was horrible. the salads were served at the same time as the entrees. It took 1 1/2 hours for our food to be served. Our drinks were never re-filled. No explanations. The prices were very high for the service and a limited bar menu.
We will not be returning!
