We were greeted at the door by Echo and the hospitality was great. We stayed in the Irish Room which was very nicely decorted and the bed was very comfortable. They awoke us in the morning with a knock on the door and a tray with hot chocolate and a rose. Then breakfast--you get several choices and the portions are quite large--we were there two days so tried the apple souffle, french toast, pecan waffles, and the moroccan omlette--all were very good. One evening we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. It is a nice location to do things in Olympic National Park but the town of Forks does not have a good selection of restaurants for evening eating.

Stayed for one night while traveling through the area. Hospitality was second to none. Very welcoming and helpful in recommending dining and other activities in the area. We enjoyed our stay and hope to make it back one day. Now on to the breakfast...bring your appetite. I went with the custard french toast and my wife chose the blueberry pancakes. Everything was delicious plus the great view out the back window with birds feeding. The hosts also keeps a beautiful garden. We stayed in the Irish Room and the bed was comfy.

This is a great Inn on the Olympic Pennisula. Their breakfast was one of the more fabulous breakfasts in the region. We extended our stay an extra evening and the inn keeper even did a load of laundry for us! What a great place and we'd recommend it to our friends if they want to visit the area.

After seeing only a 2 diamonds rating in the AAA TourBook I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised and I was. The rooms, food, and hospitality were wonderful. After spending 4 days of hard camping we enjoyed the shower, quiet reading area filled with great books, and the FOOD. They had a dessert bar with homebaked goodies and the breakfast was fabulous. Also enjoyed the gardens and view.

The welcome which we were given on our arrival was second to none! We then put an order for our breakfast and arranged for some tea to be brought to our door the next morning. This was no ordinary tray and so beautifully presented! The breakfasts were delicious and we certainly did not need any lunch afterwards! Although we did not use the terrace because of the weather, I took great pleasure in observing the numerous birds and the chipmunk in residence. Again, binoculars were provided. Nothing was too much trouble! If anyone managed to take a picture of the Blue Jay, I would be so grateful! He was too quick for me!
I would highly recommend this Inn, although I was not so smitten with the town of Forks itself. And avoid at all costs eating the meatloaf sandwich at the Twillight Cafe! It made me ill all afternoon! A far cry from the lovely food served at Misty Valley!

Beautiful rooms. Slept in the "English" room. Friends were in the larger "Dutch" room. The English room faces Hwy 101 (behind some trees) but I didn't notice any significant noise.

Even though we arrived late (around midnight) the host was there to greet us and take down our breakfast order (and offer a snack). There were about half a dozen interesting choices for breakfast.

I wasn't too impressed with my French toast (which tasted more like a plain omelet). The pancakes and crepes other people got however looked great. Portions were too large to finish (except perhaps for the soufflé someone ordered). Nice choice of syrups.

The wake up call and breakfast happened a bit later than planned, but we were not in a hurry, so no big deal. The owners were about as friendly and helpful as is possible (without getting annoying).

We stayed at the Misty Valley Inn on July 30, 2009, during a hot spell. The air conditioning, which other local lodgings don't have, was a relief. The facilities were fine, even luxurious, and the price was very reasonable, especially in the light of the competition. The service and food were excellent, and geared to individual tastes. The satin sheets were a nice touch, as was the tea at the door first thing in the morning. Although the room wasn't large enough to have a comfortable chair to sit on, there were ample lounging facilities in the living room and the huge deck. The nearby road made some noise at night, but the setting is rural and peaceful.
