“Not the Fish and Chips I remembered”
Reviewed June 26, 2014

Was back in town for a brief visit and remembered the fish and chips from Shawn's. The portion sizes have been trimmed significantly. The fish I remember was a broad plank of halibut freshly breaded and prepared. The quality of the fish was good, but the portion wasn't the same. Service was good not great. All three of us ordered the same three piece fish meal on my recommendation. The food was just good. I remember when it was first opened. They had a hard time getting people to come in. It seems they're resting on their reputation.

“Good Food!”

Have visited about four times, most recently for breakfast. Service always good, as is the food. Go for any entree with their corned beef that is slow-braised in Guinness, it is delicious!

“Terrific fare at a good fare.”
Reviewed June 13, 2014

Great variety. Good prices. The BEST thing is that they welcome requests for mix and match. I can't stand cabbage. They willingly ask what else you may like and tell you what all may work...a number of suggestions. Beer is great, and on the other hand, I ask for a mix strawberry lemonade with half 7up/Sprite....no problem.

Right by I-5...on the east side of the hwy.. Extremely easy off ramp from the I-5. Have to maneuver a bit to get back on the freeway no matter which direction. If you live in Snohomish or that direction...to the east....no problem going home after a delightful repast ....remember designated driver rule tho.

Mostly eat here for breakfast. Cook really knows how to cook hash browns crispy. There corned beef is really good. Spiced just right and tender.
