“One night in Everett, Washington”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

My husband and I flew in to SeaTac Airport, Seattle, Washington, on a Thursday evening in July. We arrived about 9:30pm and wanted to get through Seattle so we didn't have to fight the traffic the next morning. (There was a lot of traffic even at 10pm!) The next day we planned to drive across the border into Canada to take the ferry to Vancouver Island. I wanted a hotel about 1 hour or less driving distance from Seattle. I found this hotel at a good price at in the town I was looking at. (We got the internet non-refundable rate) We always have a great experience at Best Western hotels and felt confident that we would have a good experience here also. We arrived about 11pm and the person at the front desk was smiling and very helpful. Easy check-in process. We went to our room on the second floor and found it large and comfortable. The room was clean and the decoration nice. We slept well and the next morning had a great breakfast at the buffet. This was the perfect hotel for a quick in and out overnight.

Room Tip: I requested a room away from the street. We had no problems with noise.

Wow, we had a room right by the pool! And it was heated with a hot tub! The hotel rooms are not big, but they are quiet, as well is the hotel. There is A/C, and it seems to be well maintained. They have toiletries at the front desk which is good and wifi.

Room Tip: Get one by the pool

Great everything! The connecting rooms were just perfect, breakfast was yummy, but often hard to find seating! I did see there was another room, but always forgot to check that out! Next year!! Staff were wonderful and helpful with everything that we asked for. We come every year due to Aquasox camp, my husband can work, and we can get around without a car. We were able to pay and have late check out, which was extremely helpful!! Can't wait for next year! Thanks!!

This is a great hotel with friendly service. The clerk went out of his way to help us with directions to our next destination. The breakfast is wonderful. When you check in, you may want to ask when is the best time for breakfast in order to avoid the crowd. The room is very clean with a comfortable bed. This is a quiet place to rest and recharge. The hot tub is at a comfortable temperature.

Older hotel, very well maintained. Large rooms, good furnishings and very clean. Great breakfast. Easy on/off access to Interstate 5. Good restaurants and services in vicinity. Would definitely stay here again, good value!

I stayed overnight and the room was clean. My room was next door to what was clearly a party. Although concerned at first, I was pleasantly surprised that we never heard them once.
The breakfast was the best breakfast I've had that was included with a room: potatoes, fresh fruit, breakfast meats, cereals, variety of breads.
My only complaint was the wifi. I felt like I was constantly re-entering the password. It got in the way of making our next day travel plans.

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor and low numbers are closest to the breakfast buffet.

This is the second time we've stayed here. :)

The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is awesome for the price (free!). There are scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, toast, cereal, muffins, fruit and even bacon (if you can catch it before its gone). The breakfast is actually one of the main reasons we came back. However, there is very limited seating. There is only one high chair which is an issue as we have two kids that require one. This morning we had to hold our six month old in our laps to feed him as the only chair was being monopolized by a family that was having a leisurely breakfast. And when they finally left, someone else snagged it before I even had a chance to get up.

The pool is decent - a regular pool and a hot tub. Both clean.

Another couple of negatives - our air conditioning is on full blast and its barely making a difference in the room. Also, it appears as if the wifi has changed since we were here last. There is now a username and password. I keep getting bumped off and have to log on again. Annoying. And the Internet is PAINFULLY slow. It's enough for us to rethink staying here again. We depend on the wifi in the rooms to plan our trips. We are from Canada, and I couldn't possibly afford the atrocious roaming charges for data. It's $5 per MB! It's too bad that this has compromised my feelings about the hotel. It was so much better last time, and this time I'm am getting extremely frustrated.
