Hotel seemed brand new. We were only stopping for the night on our way to Vancouver, BC from Portland, Oregon. This had all the great amenities I expect from Holiday Inn Express - comfortable beds, good breakfast, very clean, etc. and are the reason I am partial to this brand. We just stopped for the evening (from 10:00PM to 8:00 the next morning) and had already had dinner, so we didn't look around the area at all. Not sure the location is useful other than if you are already on I-5 going somewhere else, but then I am not very familiar with Everett or even North Seattle. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area and in need of a place to stay.

Room tip: We had a 3rd floor room away from the elevator - very quiet!

Booked this hotel for my stay last night when I had to be at a nearby volunteer project early this morning and didn’t want to make the 1.5 hour drive at dawn. Was able to book with my travel agent discount and the price was very reasonable, including free parking and breakfast!

I arrived right around 10pm and was checked in very efficiently and given the option of second or third floor, of which I chose the latter. The room itself was spacious, with a single king bed. There was actually a large empty space that seemed odd, as the room was clearly designed to hold two queens. It just felt like there should be furniture there.

The bed was SO comfortable, the best I’ve slept in ages! There was definite highway noise which might be problematic if you’re a light sleeper, but once I was asleep it didn’t wake me up.

Lots of storage here, lots of outlets and USB ports everywhere, toiletries were beyond what I expected, and subtle backlighting from several pieces of furniture. The lighting around the mirror let off a high-pitched drone that would be fairly annoying for anyone able to hear it. Loved that the safe was big enough for a 15” laptop - more hotels need to be like this!

Nice breakfast selection in the morning but the actual food area is very small and was super crowded. I wasn’t expecting so many people on a random Saturday in March, but apparently there was some kind of convention and/or tournament nearby. There is a good amount of seating but not a lot of options for one person - I ate at one of the large tables in the lobby, which was like a communal option.

Lots of parking but you might not be close to your room. Everything near the lobby entrance was taken when I arrived and I ended up at the end of the building - not a big deal.

I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area!

The lobby, breakfast area, and fitness rooms were never above 64 degrees while I was there. I mentioned it to the front desk a couple of times and they said they would inform maintenance. Everybody was wearing coats inside. This was in February right before the big Seattle-area snow storms so cold weather was to be expected. But not inside. It never got any warmer and one morning I mentioned to the breakfast server how cold it was and she said it was always like this.

My room was fine - I could control the heating unit in it but if you wanted to use the fitness room any sweat you generated was going freeze on you.

The pool area due to high humidity felt warmer but that was an illusion. The temperature was no warmer in there and the pool, though heated, was shivering cold to get in.

All other aspects of the hotel were fine. The room was first rate, the breakfast was good. No other problems. I just froze to death in the areas mentioned.

Room tip: Get a room away from I-5 and 128th St. Get on the Northwest end.

We stayed the night of the Super Bowl. We checked in early so we could leave our car at the hotel and get a ride to our friends house. Check in was a breeze, and we were greeted as if we were old friends. They had a reception area with wine while we waited for our friend to show up, After the game we returned to the hotel lounge for a night cap and once again blown away by the outstanding service. If ever up for a good evening cocktail and great conversation the bartender was one of the best. We made friends at the bar with another couple and he stayed open a little extra for us and did not make us feel rushed in any way.

This hotel is bordering 4 star quality. Hotel is modern and extremely clean. Bed was as comfortable as my own. Breakfast was better quality and selection than any other continental breakfast I have had at other motels. Great internet connection. Although located right next to I-5 we could not hear the freeway whatsoever! So close to everything north of Seattle. If you have a car this is a great option to economical stay for Seattle area. This hotel has pool and spa. The only negative would be that spa had way too much Chlorine, to the point that it would burn your eyes and you could smell it all the way in the lobby. But the thing that impressed me the most was the friendliness of the staff. I mean every single employee. If you travel often it is just a given that the front desk is usually snobby and rude. Not here. This the case for housekeeping also. Just loved this hotel and will stay again if I ever need a hotel in area again,
