We've been here a handful of times. The kids always enjoy it and the staff is friendly. I've never been when it wasn't crowded but that's to be expected at a place like this.

We visited this children's museum after being hugely disappointed with the one in Seattle. What a difference!! This was so well done and everything worked as it should! Clean, well kept, well thought out. We spend about 2.5 hours and could have stayed all day if we had planned our day better. Bring a lunch. There is a great eating area downstairs for picnic lunches. So much for the kids to do. We have a 5 and 3 year old and they were absolutely mesmerized but the train sets, neumatic tube system, airplane, water channel area, colour and light wall (the dancing wall as my daughter put it), etc. etc. We didn't even make it to the top floor and roof outdoor play area. It was raining so I didn't drag the kids to see it. I went myself though and can't wait to go again on a better weather day- wow. The inside stuff is enough to enterain though if the weather isn't good. This museum is worth every cent and more. Much better than Seattle's!!

We have been to many other Children's Museums including the one in Seattle. And we find the other ones better suited to older kids, old enough to play with puzzles or science experiments with much better and precise motor skills than what a toddler has. We have a 2 yrs old and the Everett Children's Museum was perfect for him. In fact, I would say most activities there are catered to the toddler age range from the giant train set for pushing the wooden trains across the tracks, to the bouncy padded fire truck, pretend driving a bus, kiddie sized airplane to sit in, play restaurant with play kitchen, arts and craft rooms downstairs,... etc. There are activities for the older kids too but this museum has way more activities for the toddler than any of the other ones we've been to.

Has the usual children museum exhibits but some great extras like the mockup jet, a huge big toy on the roof with slides, and laser pens you can write on a wall with. We travel almost two hours to get here and are not disappopinted. Parking can be problematic if you dont want to pay as street parking can be limited (or you can park further away)

Spent an afternoon at the Children's Museum in Everett on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. The place was packed. But since there was so much to do, each exhibit that we visited gave our kids plenty of time to enjoy it. The museum was decorated up for Christmas and we even got to have our picture taken with Santa. Downstairs in the arts and crafts room, our kids made Christmas candy to enjoy, and then made a Nutcracker out of a toilet paper roll and paper. They had a puppet show and had special music. Our kids enjoyed every bit of the museum. The place had so much to do and we could have spent several more hours there. This will for sure be a stop every time we visit Everett. Great place!
