We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed the quaint cafe. There were only two items on the kids menu: toasted cheese or cheeseburger. It was the normal menu price $6.50 for the grilled cheese; it camewith a small bag of chips. The milk was extra $2.50. The chicken, chili, pepperjack quiche was delicious at $10. The Holy Moly sandwich ($11.50) was great but a dollar extra for the heavenly roll should be included and homemade kettle chips would be better than a small bag. We topped it off with a large piece of chocolate cake for $6. It was rich and perfect to share. Wait staff was friendly. Our waitress disappeared but the other server picked us up pretty seamlessly other than having to ask for drink refills.

We recently at at the YCC - after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to stop on our way to Seattle from Boise for lunch. The restaurant is in an actual church building, as others have mentioned; while the outside is indeed a bright yellow, the interior is more of a soft butter or gruyere cheese color and is quite soothing. The space is not large but there is some upstairs seating and a room for a larger group. We were seated almost immediately and during lunch hour on a weekday as well, which was great. Our server was soft-spoken and atttentive; she refilled our drinks and brought carafes of water and ice tea which was very nice. We enjoyed the soup (both tomato and corn chowder, which were scrumptious); the salads with the house dressing and another lovely vinagrette, and of course the cheesy, yummy Heavenly loaf, which my husband had as his base for his tuna sandwich. GREAT idea! We were too full for cake, but they sat tantalizingly on the counter, inches high, both a chocolate and a carrot, and we wished we had taken it a bit easy on the Heavenly loaf! :) My daughter accidentally left her jeans jacket on a hook in the bathroom, and when we called today, they still had it and were going to hold if for us as we will drive back through tomorrow. Just FYI the bathroom was quaint and sparkling clean. Bustling, cozy, and inviting - great food - great service - we will definitely be back the next time we drive to Seattle! Well done!

We went for dinner in December. We sat upstairs in the loft and had a nice view of the restaurant. My friend had the lambshank and I had the ahi with roasted regetables. Both were delicious, Chris was the cook that night. The service was good and they had a decent selection of wines.

We LOVE The Yellow Church. Lunch is bustling, but service is still great. Friday's clam chowder is to die for!!! Personally, I don't think the cheesy rolls are all-that, but the rest of their menu is excellent.

What a cute little restaurant! It is a house/church that has been converted into a restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great! The Heavenly Loaf is a must! Yummy cheesy, garlic goodness! Also, their selection of wines was fabulous. The food is so good it is simply heavenly and you can't miss out on all they have to offer, especially their desserts!
