Wanting to test drive a newly purchased car in the Yakima area, my wife and I drove the 35 miles to Ellensburg, looking for a nice lunch destination. Sifting through the reviews on Trip Advisor, we weren't sure which of the top spots to pick, but the inviting, old fashioned exterior of EPC caught our eye and drew us in. We were well rewarded with a delicious salmon sandwich and a tasty pastrami sandwich together with baked potato soups. Fresh coffee and attentive service rounded out a lovely weekday lunch.

I love coming here, never a disappointment.
I always get the clam linguine. My family likes it and the kid always likes what she gets. Bottom line family is happy and full and dads happy when he gets the bill. Keep up the good work EPC

Not many tables so there was a short wait but worth it.
Started with fresh bread dipped in sautéed garlic and olive oil. Not great for your breath but tasted great!
Cesar salad, as well as, House salad with their house made vinaigrette were fresh and delicious.
The Soup of the Day was Pasta Fagioli. It was good but not great. I prefer more spice and veggies.
Cajun chicken pasta and Basil pasta were both excellent entrees.
For dessert we ordered the Zeppole. Very light and airy fried doughnuts, covered in cinnamon sugar and served hot with a side of chocolate dipping sauce. Perfect way to end our already great meal.

We enjoyed friendly personable service and delicious food. We were in a hurry and the staff was very accommodating. Lovely restaurant. Can't wait to return and try some of the other dishes. Our group enjoyed the crab sandwich, salmon sandwich, steak Gorgonzola pasta, chicken broccoli Gorgonzola pasta, and the chicken pesto. We would recommend all of these dishes!
