“Lovely Lunch”
Reviewed May 22, 2014

We sat by the windows in the front. It was a beautiful day and our seats were perfect for people watching. The servers were very friendly, neat and clean and were familiar with the specials for the day. My husband had the rib eye steak and I ordered the lingcod special. The fish was perfectly cooked, seasoned with a wonderful beurre blanc sauce and capers. The rib eye was also cooked to order. Sometimes when cuts are thin they get overcooked. Not in this case! The steak was cooked medium rare and was very tender. Both entrees were certainly worth having. We drank B&G Merlot which needed a wee bit of help (a lot of air time). And of course at the end of our meal we had to have the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. VERY tasty. All in all the lunch was very relaxing; good food, good wine and good view.

“Great Little French Restaurant”
Reviewed May 20, 2014

Prior to moving from the area 10 years ago this was one of our favorite restaurants. Last week we were back in the area and wanted to see if it was good as we remembered. It certainly was, the same wide selection of appetizers, main courses and desserts for the most part. The main courses were served hot and were as tasty as we remembered. It was nice to go back to an old favorite and find it still a wonderful place for a reasonably priced French meal. The wine list is small and very inexpensive compared to most French restaurants in the Seattle area. Service was efficient and friendly. Who knows when we will be back in the area but when we are we already on planning going back!

“Nice little french style restaurant”
Reviewed May 8, 2014

My wife and I dined here for the first time. We had an excellent experience all the way around. Mainly, the food was excellent. Starter salad was large – some might actually share. We had different selections and both salads were excellent. I ordered lamb and my wife had halibut. Both were perfectly prepared. Sides were delicious with a definite French touch – creamy, flavorful, and not lo-cal. Bread was served warm and tasted like it had just left the oven. Because the mains were large, we shared a dessert and it was excellent as well. The only glitch to the evening was they were slightly understaffed for the busy dining room, but the slight waits would not be a concern to a European diner.

“Great entertainment Thursday nights”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

We've been to this restaurant a handful of times and always had fantastic food! On Thursday nights they have a fantastic singer /guitar player who takes requests. A real great addition to the fantastic food! We'll be back - but only on Thursday nights!

“French place in Edmonds?”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

It was a nice and cozy evening meal. Nothing pretentious, but good classic French evening meal. Onion soup was terrific and the main courses were really well prepared, and not skimpy portions. There's a serenader who plays the guitar and comes by your table on some nights - a bit of a sing along with him. I'd say good place.
