We stayed here for three nights in August while visiting my family in the Everett area (my wife and I live in Munich, Germany). In general the hotel was clean, quiet and friendly, the location is within easy walking distance of the ferry dock and downtown Edmonds. I have only two quibbles (one of which mentioned by other reviewers):
1) The train noise. Some nights the trains seem to come through town every hour or so until dawn. It didn't bother us excessively, but it might bother you if you're sensitive to that sort of noise.
2) The breakfast - quantity and quality were OK, but why does a Best Western Plus have to serve breakfast on paper plates with cheap plastic cutlery and paper cups? It can't cost so much more to provide real dishes and silverware! It just cheapens the image of the hotel. I know other chains are doing this too these days (Holiday Inn), but it's a pet peeve of mine.
Summary - if you're looking for a good base to explore the Seattle area, and aren't sensitive to train noise, this might be the place for you. I'd stay here again.More
