“Our go-to Mt. Rainier hotel”
Reviewed August 18, 2014 via mobile

We have stayed here for years. This year's visit showed an aging/declining hotel. Bed was comfy & bedding was clean but walls in bathroom area were very dirty, toilet was difficult to flush, and AC was very noisy.

I was here for 4 nights and it is a very nice, clean and comfortable motel. The room was large and I had a nice view of Mount Rainier from my second floor room. There was a microwave and refrigerator in room as well as coffee maker. Breakfast was basic but had several choices from cereal to hot items. Good coffee. Staff was very friendly. I fell due to my spraying bug/sunscreen protection that left an oily film on bathroom floor. The maids got me an ice pack for my head and carefully cleaned the floor. They were very thoughtful and concerned.

It is about 20 miles to park but I enjoyed the drive each day.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of Mount Rainier.

We tried to stay closer to Mt Rainier, but were unable to find a place on a Friday night. We were glad to find this place, about 25 miles from the Nisqually entrance. This turned out to be a nice small town motel with a friendly staff. The room was very clean and furnished comparable to a regular Best Western. Nice touch is a Keurig coffee maker in the room with good coffee. The breakfast had hot eggs and sausage, make your own waffles, cereal, toast, bagels, and fruit. It is a quiet town at night so easy to get a good night's sleep. Overall much nicer than many small town motels.

We came to Eatonville on vacation for few days before cruising to Alaska. My wife found this location on trip advisory and we booked for two night.
If you need a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced motel while visiting Mt. Rainier, this should be your choice.

Our first floor room was spotless, even under the bed was clean(my lens cap fell and I had to retrieve it). The bathroom was very clean also. The rooms are obviously very well maintained. We arrived early and the manager inspected our room before issuing our keys.

The staff is friendly, polite, caring and focused on customer service.

The free breakfast was good and filling, as good as at one of the major chains. There is free coffee in room with Kreurig single cup brewers in the room along with a clean and cold refrigerator.

We did not find the room noisy, the hotel was full and we slept like a baby in our comfortable queen sized bed.

Two thumbs up!

The Mill Village Motel is the ONLY motel in Eatonville, but in spite of the lack of competition it is worth the price. You can travel further afield to get to one of the "name brands", but they won't offer you the old-fashioned level of personal service that the Mill Village Motel staff does. Truly a clean, comfortable room with small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Plus a very nice full breakfast each morning.

Awesome place. Very clean and the staff was very helpful. Had a room with a view of Mt. Rainier at sunset. Good breakfast. Also within walking distance of a small store and Laundromat. Nice and quiet at night...........Stayed one night and decided to stay for another. That's how great it was!!!!

Pam put us in a room with a view of Mt. Raineer so we had a phenomenal view of both the sunset and sunrise. The room was clean, it was stocked with a microwave and refer. There is a grocery store within a block, several eating establishments close. They allow pets at a small fee. The bed was comfortable and the shower was a 9 out of 10. Lots of parking and quiet in the evening.
