This hotel was great! We got a great rate and an awesome breakfast! The rooms seemed to be newly remodeled within the last couple years and is in a great location. On a clear day you can see Mt. Rainier out the window and you are about half way between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens! It was a great place to stay and is located right next to a great restaurant! Definately would recommend!

Room Tip: Book early and don't be afraid to ask questions!

Our great experience began with making our reservations with the manager, Jan. She was very friendly and helpful. The property appears well cared for and recently updated. Our room, 213 was large and spotlessly clean. The bed was okay, we slept well although were concerned with the thin walls and the neighboring party. All went quiet early enough though. The continental breakfast was good, hard boiled eggs, sausage links, sausage gravy to accompany the standards. The bane of my existence is styrofoam plates and cups and unfortunately, they continue to be used at Mill Village. We'd stay again though for the location, comfort and Jan's tremendous hospitality.

Paid ~90+tax for one night. Great view of Mt. Rainier outside our
window. Good location for accessing the Mt Rainier National Park
(30-45 min drive to park entrance). Next to a gas station. Friendly
and helpful staff. Very spacious non-smoking room with king bed,
dressers, round table and chairs. Fridge and microwave provided in the
room. Flat-panel TV with cable. Free wireless internet. Ants on the
bathroom floor. Shampoo and soap provided. Free breakfast included
sausages, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, milk, fresh fruit, and
make-you-own waffles.

We stayed here May 22, 2010, on a trip to the Mt. Rainier National Park. The motel was very clean and the room had been recently remodeled. Beds were very comfortable, and the location was quiet and conveniently located to some good restaurants. The staff was very courteous and helpful and answered all our questions about the area.

Our only complaint was that the breakfast was not quite what the web site advertised. Instead of "pastry and fresh donuts from a local bakery" they served prepackaged pastries from some commercial bakery in California. They weren't bad, but were certainly not what was advertised. The waffles, however, were delicious, and the breakfast also offered hard-boiled eggs and sausages, which were not mentioned on the Web site.

When our plane into Seattle arrived late and we called ahead to notify the hotel, we were nervous to hear that the office closed at 10pm. Drove south anyway and were happy to find the caretaker sleeping close to the front desk. Checked in quickly, slept pleasantly and enjoyed a great breakfast with tourist tips for Mount Rainier the next morning.

Lovely room, modern and a good size, but we are sat here unable to hear the T.V. above the noise of the people above taking a shower as the water system is so loud! If noise is an issue, then only book a second level room. We requested one, but unfortunately this wasn't met, so the sound of people thumping around upstairs spoilt what is probably a nice place to stay.

A great base for exploring Mount Rainier NP and Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. On a clear day you can see Mount Rainier from parts of the second floor.

The room was clean and neat, the bed comfortable. All the basics were there and help-yourself breakfast was included in the room rate.

There are a few restaurants within walking distance. As per a previous reviewer of this Motel, we went to the Tall Timber Restaurant for dinner. We had excellent home-cooked American food and the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. It's a good sign when a restaurant is packed with locals.

For travellers with small pets, there was a sign at reception stating that the Motel accommodates small pets with advance notice.

We would most likely stay there again.
