“If you have children, forget it”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Owner greeted us along with an absolutely empty restaurant and informed us as we walked in they "didn't serve little people". With our three year old in hand we took this as some kind of joke and said, "can we be seated." At this point things got weird and uncomfortable and he said no children were allowed. We looked at the restaurant (again, empty) and said maybe he should reconsider. We took out business up the road to a place that took children and has a short waiting list for seats. In a family setting like Orcas there is no place for this kind of owner, look elsewhere.

“Amazing sauces, fresh ingredients, and excellent Italian food”
Reviewed May 29, 2013 via mobile

Our B and B host at Kangaroo House recommended we try Sazio for good Italian food and some dining options for our son who is gluten and soy allergic. The food was excellent, service warm/friendly, and the desserts yummy. We loved the place so much we went back to Sazio the next night of our stay on Orcas Island.

“Good Italian Food”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

First impressions were a bit stuffy and not so friendly. They were busy with a large group and seemed a little on edge. Even though we had reservations their greeting was very standoffish. The food was very good but pricey. Their wine list (Italian varietals) was extensive. ranging from $30 and up. The Chef was very friendly stopping at all the tables around us but never to ours. Not needed but would have been nice not to feel like the outsiders. It appeared that most tables had some kind of dietary issue and he was very obliging. Overall the food was good as well as the portions. They could work on the over all hospitality from the front of the house. Over all good but the customer service brought the overall score down. Worth a try.

“Wonderful”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

They have gluten free pasta options! I was wonderfully surprised by the amazing meal I got here. Home made pork sausage in the sauce - great seasoning. I have not enjoyed a bowl of pasta since going gluten free until I ate at Sazio di Notte. Great meal.

“Rich, flavorful food @ decent prices”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Recently dined @ Sazio di Notte on a Tuesday night. There were about 6 daily specials that were beyond the 8 or so dishes on the main dinner menu. I had a wonderfully creamy red sauced suasage and linquine dish--homeade fresh noodles and in house sausage. Lots of succulent flavor. Wife had the flank steak with a balsamic tasting sauce--was equally tasty. We loved the food and are really hoping that they can improve their atmosphere a bit. Maybe some booths to cozy it up a bit. Felt like a open cafeteria with the beverage fridge out in the open and a mix match of decor. Since there is no view, making the atmosphere shine would add a great deal to the overall experience. Service was superb. Friendly and very informative. Will return when on the island again.
