“The Sticky Buns are worth the stop!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014

This small bakery didn't have a lot to choose from when we stopped in the early afternoon, but there were tarts, sticky buns, quiches, and cookies. We purchased several of the sticky buns and two of the Sasquatch cookies. The sticky buns were super yummy- gooey with "sticky" and topped with pecans, definitely worth our stop in to get them. The Sasquatch cookies were good too, but not necessarily worth the trip in or the $3.50 each.

“worth a stop.”

Spent two days in Orca. Stopped by each day to find them sold out of sticky buns. Did try the savory scones which were yummy.

“Start your day here at least twice/day!”

Tough to select our next treat. Each looks so good, but how can we branch out when remembering that latest scone (muffin, quiche, cookie,...) tasted. I sent some images of the display case.

“Do not pass up this bakery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2014

We stopped by late in the evening as the door was open and we were looking for some sweets . The owner/ baker said they would be open at 8am and he took the time to tell us what he was making for the morning and also spent a couple of minutes talking about baking . Very personal and did do blow us off by saying he was busy . We made several purchases at the bakery during our stay and we were not disappointed . The scones were very good and so were the other pastries .

“Beyond Fabulous!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2014

We are visiting all the way from Minnesota, so we are pretty picky where we eat. The Brown Bear Baking company is amazing. Artisan pastries are hard to find and everything they make tastes fantastic. Our youngest son was mesmerized watching them make it as well. Amazing! Don't miss out on this gem!
