Homemade focaccia sandwich with Halibut, heirloom tomatoes, etc. melts in your mouth....need I say more? Ok try their homemade Cherry Cobbler for dessert, yummy! Food comes out fast so shop the little store after lunch. Their thin crust pizzas look amazing..next time;) 360-376-4292 just 2 blocks from main street

“Does it get any better?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2012

People that come here expecting a Pepsi or Coke will surely be disappointed, but a true foodie will see the care and thought put into each dish...90% local, 99% seasonal, the dishes reflect a desire to serve REAL FOOD! With EACH ingredient building on the desired flavor..I read the "poor" reviews, and obviously, these people have NO IDEA what they're talking about...you get what you pay for, and the "white bread" is actually an old sourdough that they make with the original starter from years back...it really doesnt get more authentic than this..the layout is homey yet hip. The wine selection is very exceptional. The deli leaves NOTHING to be desired...i dare anyone to find such a selection ANYWHERE on the mainland, let alone the island...Being able to see the beautiful food that is being prepared adds a little extra pizazz to the whole experience. Though I have been in when the waitresses may seem a bit departed...I chalk it all up to them having to deal with somewhat dimwitted diners...usually the staff is very attentive and wonderful. I will return many times and drain my modest pocket book with willful adandonment! KEEP UP
THE GREAT WORK ROSES!

“Great bread! Amazing pies!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2012

We spent a week on Orcas Island, and ate a loaf of Rose's wonderful bread every day. We also bought a frozen, unbaked rhubarb pie, and it was the best I have ever had- quite tart, very good crust. An organic apple pie ran a close second. We also had a lunch in the restaurant, and found the food well-prepared and delicious.

“THE spot on Orcas for lunch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2012

All home grown food, freshly prepared and served by caring waitstaff during often packed lunch times. Superb and very tasty thin crust pizzas, wonderful soups and daily dishes, hand crafted sanwiches, excellent wine selection by the glass. Always crowded during the summer, delicious food gobbled by locals all year long. What every good lunch restaurant should be - not too heavy or stuffy, great food served quickly, at a decent price, put on your table by locals who love their home.
