Sucia is a great spot. Basically you have to have a boat, have access to a boat, or perhaps a float plane to access the island. It is a great place to boat to. Enjoy the naturally beauty, thin channels and much of what makes the San Juan Islands great. We didn't visit this on our recent trip to Orcas, but did see it from the north side of the island. I have been to Sucia at least 3 times and it is a memorable place. Highly recommended.

We have often taken our family on our little boat and camped on the west side of the island. What a peaceful, lovely spot. Plenty of hikes, the bay is usually calm there. And there's usually water available (but not in August)

a migcal island on the edge of Georgia Straight, i have sailed there 100s of times in my boat and each experience is new and different. Great places to anchor, great hiking, bird watching, whales, seals, sea lions, eagles, wildflowers, unbelieveable rock formations, and just a great place to relax and enjoy nature and the water. A very special place.

An amazing place that you have to see for yourself. The wildlife here is remarkable. There's a lot more here than you can see at a glance, the sandstone formations are wild.
