Spent three nights at Rosario Resort with family and friends for a wedding. Overall, it was an amazing weekend that I am blessed to have experienced. Ideal location for an outdoor wedding.
Short review: Rosario's new owners & management have their work cut out for themselves. The staff was repeatidly very unfriendly and boarderline rude. A LOT of work needs to be done to the grounds as well as the buildiings. The grill / store on the property offered the worst service I have encountered in years. The building that the wedding reception was held in had broken boards on the deck and someone twisted their ankle as it broke while she was walking across it.
On the plus side: the views CANNOT be beat. I cannot imagine anything more peaceful than sitting on the deck, watching byplanes land and enjoying a glass of wine as the sun was setting. The owners should consider themselves lucky that all of the negative things about their resort can be fixed. What a great opportunity they have to own a beautiful building with such rich history in such an amazing location.
Hopefully the staff will attend customer service and hospitality training before I venture that way again. Air conditioned rooms would be a bonus!More
