“Great Portions”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2014

Went there for dinner. The waiter was very nice and attentive of allergy issues we brought up. The waitress on the other hand gave us the cold shoulder. But we went there for authentic Mexican food so...overall worth the visit.

This restaurant had a great atmosphere with good service. The salsa is great, and the food was decent.

“Mexican food is a very personal taste to lots of people...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

I've written a review for this place once before but since it's been over a year, I'd like to brag on this place again. As a South Texan transplanted to Western Washington with the military, we are thrilled to have Viva Mexico in Dupont to visit when the desire calls. The food is fresh, prepared like true authentic Mexican dishes and the cheese is real. Authentic Mexican food is flavorful and not overly spicy. They can add the spice if you like; don't be afraid to ask for what you want. It would be nice if they had a bar but at least you can have your favorite Mexican cervesa while here. The fajitas are often overcooked; especially the beef as the filets are sliced very thin and quickly overcook on your table in front of you when on the blistering iron skillet but the enchiladas and deluxe burritos are some of the best we've had. What's more, the service is no nonsense but attentive and swift. Enjoy!

Slow service and the food did not fast authentic. Wait staff seemed anoyed that I came by myself and kept asking if more people would come.

“Not So Good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

The service was poor even though only a few tables were occupied at the time of our visit. The server disappeared for long periods of time, and there weren't any other visible staff even at the entrance. The tables felt sticky and grimey. Seating felt crowded together and not very comfortable chairs. The food was average at best.
