“Very Accommodating”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

We stayed at the Timber Lodge Inn on the 4th of July with our grown family. Everyone at the hotel was gracious, accommodating, and helpful. We enjoyed the pool at the community center, but we were disappointed that it closed at 7 PM. However we were able to have our "picnic" at a lovely dining room table at the Inn. We could also watch fireworks from the room on the south side of the building while some of our family walked to see them.

I tell you....if ain't broke, don't fix it!

I have booked my room here every year for the last 5-6 years. Love it here, great atmosphere and staff are very, very nice. My room has always been delightful and love the balcony by the willow tree. Single woman feels safe here. Easy on/off freeway....located 1/2 way to the Gorge from Tac/Seattle.

I tried today(April 2013) to book a room and could not get a working number so ......sounds like they are out of business! I'm so VERY disappointed!

I have booked a room at the Econo Lodge based on the reviews here....?

We are currently closed for some changes. We couldn't do this while we were open. We should be open by Memorial Day Weekend. We hope to see you over the summer months.

I was told upon check in that they we're closing and last day was Jan 27th. That is really sad it's a nice, tho oddly shapped hotel. the staff was wonderful everyone I delt with was plesent and helpful. The rooms have old fashioned keys (didn't care for that) and it was diffrent when I asked where ice machine was I was givin a gallon size zip lock bag filled with ice.
I would stay here again and it is too bad that they have decided to close.

Room Tip: out of buisness, pick a diffrent hotel :(

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean and very basic. Good location on the freeway end of town. They just updated to a better cable service. Breakfast was adequate. They have popcorn in the evenings.

We were doing some Mountain riding and needed a place to bed down for the night. The price was reasonable, and although dated, remarkably well kept, clean, and great customer service!
The breakfest could use a small boost with some protien items, but I had to write this place up becasue it really surprised me. Bonus is the two italian resturants right across the street are both perfect for closing out th day.

Thanks Timber Lodge!

Room Tip: There was a train, so stay on the distant side of the track and it helps a lot

Fortunately had reservation since hotel was sold out. Courteous staff, especially when checking in at midnight. Clean, spacious room. Great stopover place en route to backcountry. Would definitely stay here again when coming though town.

We had seen this place driving through town before, I looked it up here on trip advisor and we called to see if they could put us up for the night and at the last minute we asked if they had a conference room. We reserved it and a room for the next two days which was all tolled cheaper than the rooms at the other hotel. (We had a reservation at another hotel in town and at the last minute they informed us they didn't have a reservation for us but I didn't want to go into all that here). The folks at the desk were friendly and professional. They granted us access to the conference room immediately even though we hadn't spent the previous night. The conference room was small (seats about 8) but more than adequate for our group of 5. The lobby was a little noisy but not to the point we felt like requesting it be quieter. The hotel provided complimentary coffee, which a lot of higher priced hotels do not. Our rooms were reasonably updated, the bed wasn't as plush as some but the linens (bed & bath) were clean and crisp, we had a small balcony and while another reviewer stated the noise was unbearable, we actually had neighbors and heard them and their tv, but it was barely noticeable. We also noted the doors did not shut well when we were on our way out so we ensured we closed it tightly and asked for no maid service. Overall GREAT experience.

Room Tip: If you're concerned about noise, specifically ask if there are rooms with no neighbors, the staf...
