We went to a Wine and Cheese Pairing event here last night. Lots of fun, good information and tasted four excellent wines with cheeses and bread. The wineshop contains an extensive selection of cheeses from all over the world, and a large gift shop with high quality products.

Thank Jan J

A group of friends and I did a tasting at LCW. The service was good. The wine was also good. They have fun things to look at and buy. They also have a cheese shop. I have been a few times and recommend stopping by for a tasting while in Chelan.

When we first moved to the area, we tried many different wineries and had determined that we would not join a wine club until both my wife and I agreed that the wines were ones we continue to like and buy. After about 10 different wineries we went to the Lake Chelan Winery... At the tasting room, we found the club we wanted to join. Their award winning wines are the clear winners in our area.... And the best part is that they host a wine club event every quarter at the winery. At these events, they present their releases for that quarter and have a food and entertainment event.
At the event on September 8th, they presented the Cabernet and the Sirah. We tried the last quarter release.....the Sweet Riesling and found it rich and wonderful. We have also come to like the Pinot Noir Rose as a great table and dinner wine...and tried and enjoyed the Stormy Mountain White - a nice blend that is good now and will be better with a little age....
They served an Italian buffet.. with Caesar Salad, Tomotoes and Cheese in Vinagrette dressing, Chicken Lasagna, Tortellini in Oil, and Butterfly pasta with herbs and cheese...Italian bread sticks, and a Tiramisu gelato and cookie rounded out the meal...
With hundreds in attendance, the service was great, the food very good for a buffet, and good music and entertainment, including grape stomping by club members.
We have lunched and dined at the restaurant and always been impressed - and their new cheese shop, which is also starting a cheese club, is a great addition to the winery.....One of truly best attractions in the Lake Chelan Area....
Try it - You will be impressed.... and may join the club to insure you enjoy those great wines regularly....

We read a few of the reviews about this place, we stopped by the winery because it was pouring rain, if you are into sauces, dips and dressings, this is a dream place to shop. The lady that was pouring the wine was very versed in their wine. We ended up going back to try the BBQ, we ordered the ribs, one would think they would offer the different sauces that they sell in their store, not the case. The ribs were good, fall off the bone, but we didn't taste much smoke, and the BBQ sauce was lacking, the baked beans were dry like we got the bottom of the pot. There's not much of a view because the dining area is behind their building. There has got to be a better place for BBQ than this place.
