“Pretty good wood-fire thin crust pizza”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

Based on the other reviews here, we went early (around 5:30). Seating was no problem and service was prompt and friendly. By 6:00 the tables were filling up and we could tell a lot of the customers were "locals" which is always a good sign :). We ordered a Combo pizza, a beer and a fresh squeezed lemonade which was not too overly sweet (nice). The pizza had a thin crispy crust and the toppings were ample and clearly fresh (veggies). The two of us finished a "large" without much effort (easier to accomplish when the crust is thin). We noticed a Calzone that went to a nearby table and it was huge! Good pizza, typical price and friendly service. We left happy and well-fed.

“Might give it one more chance, might not”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We have always loved this place, good hand made pizzas and good craft beer. We drive an hour each way just to enjoy this place. Last time was simple poor all the way around. We had a pizza with garlic that was so bitter it was inedible. Service nonexistent, we were one of two tables in the restaurant...8 minutes just to be greeted, 35 minutes for a pizza. The staff has fallen prey to the "We are a resort town" mentality. Meaning people will come whether we give good service and food or not, well good luck this winter! I have heard they changed hands and are now under new ownership. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. I can excuse a bad experience once, but only once. We may try again but it certainly won’t be the first place we think of.

“Enjoyed the thin crust pizza”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We were warned by friends who frequent this restaurant that we should go at 4 to 4:30 if we wanted to get in. The crowds are starting before 5. We witnessed the crowds over Labor Day week-end so chose to visit today, the Tuesday after the week-end. With school starting, most families left for home, thus fewer customers vying for tables. We were seated upon arrival (about 6:30pm), water and menus brought to our table, our order taken a few minutes later. Our order took about 15 minutes which we thought reasonable since they do pizzas to go and people who called in their orders were there in a steady stream. We enjoyed the pizza and would recommend this place to our friends. Just expect to wait if you go during summer vacation.

“Get ready to wait interminably for your food”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

We arrived at 4:55PM, received our pizzas at 5:27 PM. I have to say that they were very good, but the wait really spoiled the meal. Local myth is a locally owned pizza house with limited seating and tremendous crowds. They have a good selection of beers and will bring them out after you are finally seated. Although I like the food, I would not return there.

“Over Rated”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

The service is poor here. The wait staff are running around but not paying attention to the customers. The service was very slow. When we first got there, the table next to ours kept asking for their server to refill their water, and it took forever and finally our server refilled it for them after multiple requests. We thought it could be their server but it happened to us too. They do have interesting pizza on their menu but it was very bland in taste. Very tight quarters. Probably will not return in the future
