“Beautiful course”

With the new owner taking care of the course it is a wonderful place to golf again. The view is spactacular and the course is challenging.

“Beautiful challenging course”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

Stunning setting, great course, and good food. Must have a golf cart due to length of course and distance between holes. It's also helpful as there are several blind spots on the course so the presence of a cart makes it easier for foursomes to see you.

“My Favorite Course”
Reviewed August 6, 2012 via mobile

I have played this course repeadedtly and I love it. Great lay out. Challenging but fair. The course is in great shape this year. This particular round was a real downer. Some earlier groups were playing a scramble tournament and slowed pace to 5 1/2 hours. Very disappointing. No marshals anywhere. I'll go back but will be careful to play early and check for large groups.

“Golf anyone?”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

Set on a hillside above the Columbia River, Desert Canyon Golf Course is an interesting 18 hole course, 9 holes called the lake side with 3 lakes and 9 holes the desert course. Both sides well maintained. Approximately 1/2 mile between some holes. Carts required. Driving range.

An 18 hole put-put course well landscaped and maintained is a fun time with the family. Can rent putters. Swimming pool.

The restaurant and bar serve good meals in a scenic setting with a beautiful view of the Columbia River and surrounding mountains. Indoor and outdoor dining,

Desert Canyon has a couple of the prettiest golf holes I've ever played. 16 is really a gem and worth the entire round
