Lots of eating places around and a lovely new mall just down the road. It is on a very busy 6 lane road and due to island in the middle can be difficult to get to. The rooms are being refurbished . Sadly it is cheap and poor workmanship. However they were good size and clean. Ours was over the pool and you could hear pool pump turning on and off all night. There was not much road noise due to being out the back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is not over the pool

We we very pleased with the warm welcome on arrival. The rooms were very clean, well renovated and good value. There was free parking, however, this can get full at busy times. We only paid $85 per night in April 2013 which was half the price of many other hotels in the district. Overall very good value!

Room Tip: All rooms seemed good, upstairs might be quieter. Make sure you ask for milk daily as they don't replace it. No bible in room if you expect that kind of thing?

Never stayed at a Golden Chain before and we were pleasantly surprised by how good this one was. Having paid around $140 a night for motels on road trip from Brisbane we decided to give them a go as they were cheaper. Very surprised by how good they are and have re booked to go back again. Now in Victor Harbour unfortunately not the same story.

Room Tip: Worth upgrading.

I needed somewhere to stay for a few days in adelaide, but I didn't want to break the bank doing it. With a party of 3, $90 a night is more than reasonable. Not to mention the free upgrade to premium suite due to full booking.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms where nice and clean with great facilities. Couldn't ask for more.
5 stars.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and good. It was a good sleep, unfortunately only after we asked two chatty (and drunk) women next door to tone their discussion down and to close the door of their room. good value for money.
