One of the best 3 out of 50 low cost motels I've stayed at the past 3 years. Excellent value for the cost. Best breakfast ever. Great service from Shari. I'm retired and have travelled extensively across the country and this is one of the best. Stay here if you can.

Some of the rooms were nice others weren't.
The room my husband and I stayed in was clean with an updated Heater/A/C unit. The bed was comfortable and we had no problems. But another family member had a room that smelled really bad, the key had issues, the door would stick and the TV didn't work.

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2014

Stayed here for 6 nights in April of 2014 in room 105. I saw a few really negative reviews about this place but we definitely had a very positive experience.

Check In/Lobby
All the staff that we dealt with over the 7 days were very nice and pleasant. Check in was fast.

Room
Room was very clean and recently renovated. Bed was comfortable and was on the softer side but not uncomfortably so (I prefer hard beds yet slept great). Not sure why but the room felt a bit cool but the heater worked great so no complaints there. Room didn't smell like smoke at all and we're pretty sensitive to these things.

Room came equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee machine as well as an ironing board/iron.

Noise
Despite being on the ground floor, having neighbors some of that time and being next to the main drag in Centralia we heard nothing.

Bathroom
Also recently renovated. Great water pressure and no shortage of hot water. I'm not complaining here but if I were to change two things:
-the shower curtain bar is curved up so that the curtain would never stay closed and water would constantly bounce off of me and onto the bathroom floor. I rigged it so that it stayed close...just a bad design.
-the shower head is low. I'm 6'1" so not a monster and the head was basically at eye level.

Internet
Worked fine for VOiP calls and watching online videos so pretty decent overall.

Area
We never felt worried or concerned about the area. It's on a busy enough street, well lit and all that.

Other
The backside of the hotel overlooks a skateboard park. There's a fence separating the two properties and it didn't seem noisy the few times we drove by. Plus, if we couldn't hear car traffic it is unlikely anyone back there could have heard the park but good to know.

We'd definitely stay here again if in Centralia!

Room Tip: I'd probably choose a room facing the street.
