“their upgrade needs an upgrade”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

We called ahead, referencing a discount coupon available on the internet, but when we got there, the desk clerk wouldn't give us the discounted rate. Our room with 2 queen beds was hardly worth the discounted rate, but the complimentary breakfast was OK. Bedding and bath had been recently upgraded, but the finish in the bath was far from standard grade: tile grout was smeared in the corner, etc. The original building dates back many, many years, as is evidenced by the architecture and the asbestos tile on the exterior. If you're driving a truck, watch out for the low 9' clearance on their very old roofing over the entrance. If you drive in before seeing the overhead sign, you then must back your truck out onto 4 lanes of oncoming traffic. All in all, I'd recommend spending your money at a newer facility!

Room Tip: Inquire about their occupancy rate and what discount coupons they honor. Arrive early and be picky...

The room, when we FINALLY got there (45 minutes to get checked in), smelled musty, but it seemed clean. We had requested a non-smoking room, but were first assigned a smoking room. That got changed, after a fashion. We had requested a rollaway, and as soon as one of us sat down on it, the bed collapsed and folded onto itself.

The continental breakfast was very slim pickings, with even the cereal being low when we went up to eat.

Overall, the hotel wasn't bad. It was a place to sleep and that was what we needed. I'm not sure I would stay there again, though.

We arrived at the Travelodge around 8pm
The reception at the desk was pleasant .
When we opened the door to our room there
was a strong oder of Marijuana in the allocated room,
We were moved to another room, this room was in need of
a upgrade, the curtains had half fallen down, no shampoo
the sink in bad condition, and the rug is also in need of replacement
Old towels, the breakfast was good
we would not recommend this Travelogde.

the people at this Travel lodge really took care of our needs, from filling our request for Hot chocolate instead of coffe in the room, to getting an extra blanket for Grandma, to helping when my key wouldn't work. I even got a phone call to see if everythig was ok shortly after we were i the room.

This was our second stay at this Hotel, last Spring stayed at the front of the facility, everything was great but heard a lot of road noise. So this time I called the Hotel directly and booked a room at the back and on the bottom. Which we got. We walked into the room at 5pm to a FRIGID room. The heat had been shut off and the previous 3 days the temperatures had been in the 30's - 40's. I immediately cranked the heat - 20 minutes later we couldn't even take our coats off. I finally called the front desk and asked if turning off the heat was their normal practice. She said yes, in the off season they don't want to heat empty rooms. I told her I understood that but since I had a reservation and requested a specific area of the hotel, couldn't they have went and turned the heat on? The reply, we could have but we don't assign rooms until people arrive. I can bring you extra blankets.
The room was still cold after 30 minutes. We finally left for an hour - ran an errand and then came back and the room was finally warm.
The sink had a 2-3" hole around where the overflow was supposed to be, looked absolutely disgusting. And then we go to walk down the sidewalk and come across a huge pile of dog poo.
The beds were comfortable, I found the pillows to thick.
No Ice Bucket
Fridge was so small I couldn't even fit the to go container from the restaurant in it.
They courtesly gave us $5 off for the night and cleaned up the poo.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quieter. The front borders on a main road.
