Great for families with kids. Four adults one child for two nights great fun had by all. They make it easy for you by being able to charge everything to your room using your wristband. No need to leave the lodge if you dont want to.

“Great destination”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013 via mobile

We had a basic room for a family of 5. Service was very good. Food was limited and expensive. The room was simple and some what dated. Had an old tube TV in the room. Great touch to have kids friendly soap and touches. The towels are on the chincy side. Water park was nothing short of fantastic.

“the gift that keeps on giving”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013

Lord Almighty,,,, worse case of athlete's foot I've ever had. They should bleach the whole place down,,, starting with the chairs every night. The staff was young,,, but friendly. And the wave pool is NOT a toilet. Wasn't the fault of the lodge,,, I blame parents. It was like watching that famous scene from Caddyshack.
It was fun, but I'd suggest NOT going during a popular weekend or spring break. IF I go back; it'll be during the week.

“An indoor Wonderland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

If you need something to do indoors this is the place to go! Aside from the great water park that is indoors, they have a quest for the kids to do and they will have fun for hours! Something for every age group! If you are planning a trip for the family, give Great Wolf Lodge a try, I think you will get the most bang for your buck!

“Okay for younger children, far better ways to spend a dime”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2013

Stayed for four days with a 13 and 15 year old. Rooms were comfortable, staff was accommodating and warm, the breakfast buffet was better than expected. However, given the price we paid, I expected far more amenities. Our teens where underwhelmed by the waterpark overall and the arcade was focused on money sapping, ticket producing games. Add to this the fact that there is no way for them to attach a game system to the in-room TV (in order to force you towards the pay-for-gaming service), and they had nothing to do between trips to the pool. For them the trip was a bust for the most part and they have no desire to return. I would imaging younger kids would have a ball. From a parent standpoint, there is no place other than your room to escape the constant assault of activity and unwind. So...for families with younger children staying no more than two days, why not! What would have brought the rating up? More things to do...show a movie at night, bring back the teen center, realize that kids aren't going to swim 12 hours a day. We had a nice time but won't be coming back.
Parting shots, noise levels were acceptable overall, having a Starbucks in the lobby was a win, parking was at times problematic, the burger place next door was surprisingly good and offers a discount to guests.
