“Yummy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2014

If you like these "Turkish Delights" this is a must stop! Lots & lots of free samples, good prices because some of the boxes are near expiration date so the savings is there. Also bulk bagged applets & cotlets are great prices. We missed the factory tour because the last one is at 3:30 p.m. & we didn't know that. They started the video for us on the large screen where you see the entire process of making the candy, so I doubt that we missed much. Just go earlier in the day if you want to go on the actual tour.

“Needs friendlier staff...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2014

Who wouldn't want to see where yummy candy is made? We did and were very excited... until we started shopping. We were originally greeted by a very lovely young woman who soon left to lead a tour. As we shopped, a different girl (short, long dark hair and olive skin tone) watched us closely and followed us around the store while pretending to straighten shelves. When we got to the counter, she never said hello, greeted us in any way or asked how we were. We actually said something to her about it and she barely apologized. She needs to find a position in the back office before tourist season.

“A fun stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2014

We adore Aplets & Cotlets and all the related candies, so this was a real treat. The tour is fun --- and yes, it's quick, but interesting. You must wear a hair net (provided) and you can't bring food/drink inside the factory area. You can take pictures if you wish. Free samples of a few of the flavors are provided in the store area, where you can purchase variety packs and other unusual packages of their wonderful products. For example, we bought my daughter a pound of but just Aplets, and I got a pound of just the raspberry/walnut ones. You can tell the difference in the freshness, too. Great stuff.

“Been around since '30s and fun place to visit.”

When I was a kid, these were a special treat for me out in Cosmopolis. Stopped here the other day, watched the folks boxing candy, bought a few gifts. Neat to see the folks through the glass doing their 9 to 5 while you as a passerby get to see whats going on behind closed doors. Lots of samples of their unique products. Worth a stop if you have the time.

Adorable store, friendly employees, and yummy samples. We had a great experience on the tour, just wish it was longer. Good date idea!
