“Perfect place to stay! Grace and Lee: great people”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013

We stayed on July 28, 2013 and I highly recommended this hotel. Great stay, great location! The hotel is close to the railroad but this is not an issue as the train passes only 2 times during the night. Everything was there that we needed; mini-fridge, microwave, air conditioning, etc. No continental breakfast included but free coffee at the reception. From here, you can walk around the small village Forks and eat to nice restaurants. It is clear that small family businesses are not miniature versions of larger once but the staff is very professional and loyal. Grace at the front desk is very nice and the owner Lee is a very good man who obviously cares a lot about his business. Overall, a very solid choice. I would definitively recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very-very Clean, Wonderfully friendly hosts, comfortable bed, comfortable pillows, nice bath and bed linens. Stayed two nights as a get-away, train didn't bother us, good proximity to shops, river trail, antique malls, churches of various denominations and dining. Only suprise was that they did not straighten the room the second day of our stay.

Yes, we would definitley stay there again.

We chose to stay here because there was good music at a nearby establishment - we live only 10 miles away, and wanted to imbibe a little.
We had a good night's rest on a recent HOT summer night. The AC kept our room very cool. This is a very clean, well-kept privately owned motel, with 21 rooms available. In our room was a mini-fridge & a microwave. We were presented 2 bottles of water upon arrival, along with a friendly welcome. AAA rates are available.
Bed comfortable, and everything in the room worked very well. The only downside is an occasional train's whistle, which runs infrequently.
Cashmere is on the verge of being a tourist destination. There are cider mills, breweries, a distillery, Aplets & Cotlets Factory, great dining & bars with live music at times. The Mission District offers great browsing, as well as some new shops on the main avenue. All is within a comfortable walking distance. Did I mention the river rafting?

Room Tip: There are two floors in this outside-access motel. We stayed upstairs, and brought our own pillow. N...

Stayed here for one night on an impromptu road trip around the Cascade Loop. We didn't want the faux Bavaria of Leavenworth, and I remembered liking the cute Main Street feel in Cashmere. So we pulled in at 8:30 on a Friday and grapped one of the last rooms at the Village Inn. Owners were super friendly, very helpful, and the room was spotless. It had a small refrigerator and a small microwave. Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but the linens were nice.

Yes, there's quite a bit of noise as the trains head through town, but there's not much that can be done about that. Motel is just down the street from the "downtown", which has restaurants and bars, and also just a couple of blocks from the new "Mission District" with additional shops, some tasting rooms, and coffee.

Positive reviews made me comfortable to stay here before looking at a rm first. They are very accurate. Pros- Great owners. Super clean. Plenty of room. Again...CLEAN! Very cute stainless steel kitchen unit. I want one!
Cons, which I don't mean this in a bad way, med/hard bed and pillows, train noise, loud heater. Only thing I would do next time is bring my own pillow and see if any rooms have a quieter heater. Will definitely stay here again! Lovely owners made you feel very comfortable. Awesome couple.

We came to this motel not really expecting much compared to our previous experience with other motels and we were blown away. Rooms were clean and very well maintained!!!!! We have been to many other motels were their meaning of cleanliness doesn't compare. Loved it! The owners are very friendly and very helpful. Love the small town scene and all that it has to offer. Being close to Leavenworth is a HUGE plus. We will be planning another trip soon and we will definitely be coming back.

We stayed here because of the reviews on trip advisor and were glad we did. We own a small Inn on the Oregon Coast, so I know how hard it can be to please everyone. Cleanliness is most important to me and this place was spotless. It is very clear that the owners take pride in their place and are trying to keep up on maintenance. If your looking for fancy and new, this is not your place. If you want clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced, you picked the right place. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again. Thanks for your hard work.
