“crisp and clean and 24 hour caffeine”

My girlfriend and I had tickets to Dave Matthews Band at the Gorge and stayed at the Cascade Valley Inn over labor day weekend for two nights. Saturday evening we were greeting by our hosts, Laurie and Rick, with a wonderful wine tasting in their wonderful great room. The Inn is very clean and comfortable and sparsley decorated which gives it a nice open atmosphere. Rick has two very nice acoustic guitars and a piano in the Great room which guests are permitted to use which I thought was a very nice touch. The 24 hour tea, coffee and cookie access definately came in handy! Our room had a large jetted tub and a very comfortable king sized bed that you could just melt into. The views from the balcony are amazing. We awoke Sunday morning to catch the sunrise over the valley before heading down to a wonderful breakfast. My girlfriend has some food allergies and Rick and Laurie were very accomodating and careful in the kitchen to make sure we were taken care of. If you are seeing a show at the Gorge and do not wish to camp out there, the Cascade Inn is a little far (hour and 45 minutes in traffic), but the drive was nice and the comfort and view was definately worth it. It is very close to Leavenworth and some amazing hiking trails. We would absolutely stay here again.

I booked the Cascade Valley Inn after finding it online and was so thrilled that I did! I stayed at the Cascade Valley Inn the night before my wedding and waking up there was the best feeling any bride could have. The owners made sure that I had the best morning possible and the wedding day breakfast was out of this world! We spent our wedding night at Cascade Valley Inn and what a perfect way to start our marriage in this beautiful spot, so romantic! We can't wait to go back again soon!!

We wanted to avoid crowds of Leavenworth and choose Cascade Valley Inn which is only 10 min away. The B&B has a fantastic view of the valley. We were warmly greeted by Laurie and Rick. We had a ground floor room (think it was Anjou). Each room has private outdoor seating and a table where we were able to enjoy a glass of wine after a long drive and enjoy the views. The B&B is spotless and tastefully furnished. There is a guest center where you can make coffee, tea,and borrow from a good selection of DVDs. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed , selection of pillows, bathrobes and a fabulous ensuite bathroom with a huge walk in shower.... again spotless. Breakfast was excellent too (fruit salad, followed with warm pear bread pudding and sausages). In the town of Cashmere, there is funky BBQ place called Country Boys if you like smoked ribs and pulled pork. It closes at 8pm , serves massive portions but no beer. Don't go to Leavenworth, come to Cascade Valley Inn for total peace and relaxation! Great job Laurie and Rick!

The view of the town of Cashmere and the surroudning valley was amazing! Set back on a quiet road it was very peaceful and relaxing. Laurie and Rick provided us with great ideas on what to do everyday and went out of their way to help us find tickets to the starlight theater! Breakfast every morning was tasty and not overly filling.

Laurie and Rick built Cascade valley Inn last year specifically to cater for a small number of guests and give them a great experience. They have succeeded.
They are truly excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble in their efforts to make your stay memorable.
Cascade Valley Inn is located on the hills overlooking pear and cgherry orchards and Cashmere itself. Each of the four suites has this wonderful view from either a private balcony or terrace.
The rooms are spacious and airy and very well equipped, with the en-suite bathrooms a joy to use. The lounge and dining rooms have equally wonderful views, and the breakfast provided by Laurie (from a kitchen you would love to have) is of gourmet standard.
There is a complimentary coffee and tea bar area in the back hallway that guests can access 24 hours a day, with complimentary cold water and soft drinks and ice also available in the Fridge.
It is so quiet and peaceful.
Cashmere is a Town (2200 people) you should not miss visiting, it has a fantastic museum and a full outdoor genuine pioneer village, better than anything else we saw in the US. It is also the home of the world renowned 'Aplets and Cotlets' factory which should also be on your visiting list.
The copy Bavarian village of Leavenworth is only 20 minutes away and is interesting to visit, as is Wanatchee which is a similar distance. Both have good restuarants, and Cashmere can offer a varied ooportunity for eating at Studebaker's Restuarant, Country Boys BBQ or Brian's Bulldog Pizza.
There are a number of wineries in teh area and Laurie and Rick will be pleased to advise on visits to these and help with arrangements. On the Saturday evening Rick hosted a wine tasting for guests in the lounge, thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Spent a wonderful weekend with my husband and another couple in this gorgeous new inn. The hosts are wonderful, attentive and fun. The rooms are fabulous. The breakfast was delicious (meeting special dietary needs). The setting is relaxing and casual yet elegant. Enjoyed nearby gofling, wine tasting and touring. Next time will bring our bikes along, we can't wait to return. Rick and Laurie have thought of every detail for a wonderful getaway. Also toured Leavenworth and Wenatchee from this location. We'll be back!
