“Excellent staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2009

Our company has stayed at this Holiday Inn Express several times - the staff has repeatedly gone above and beyond expectations to help us with room requests, check-outs, and last-minute reservation changes. The hotel is average: king rooms are spacious (sofas and desks) and nicely appointed, but the walls are a little thin. The courtyard is a nice view, but I-5 can be noisy. The hotel is not walking distance to much of anything. The exercise room is small, but has free weights in addition to treadmills. Overall, a standard Holiday Inn Express with excellent staff that pushes it to four stars.

Friends recommended this hotel for our visit to the outlet malls N of Seattle, and it didn't disappoint; very good breakfast included; our one-bedroom suite was spacious, new, clean and offered the amenities we needed. We found it quiet, clean, comfortable. The only issue we had was actually locating it - there were roadworks en-route which probably made it more of a challenge tho'..

I stayed at this hotel while in town for a soccer tournament. The staff was GREAT! They were able to handle the multiple teams, without a hitch.

The rooms were VERY nice, clean, and VERY comfortable.

Excellent place to stay.

Newer Hotel, with lot's a free parking, in a great location near I-5, with plenty of shopping & dining choices within a few minutes drive. The staff was very friendly & helpfull, the Hotel was very clean, the rooms were large & spacious, mine had a small fridge, microwave & coffee-pot. The breakfast-bar in the morning was terrrific! The staff did their best to make sure everything was right!

For a last minute end-of-summer getaway, this property met our primary criteria - a vacancy! It was a pleasant surprise to find our stay a relaxing experience. I haven't stayed at this this chain for some time, but after this experience I'll join their rewards program, as I now plan to try some of their other properties.

The hotel is easy to find, located within a couple blocks of I-5 and the North Cascades Highway (20); however, even though we were on the end nearest the freeway, we heard no freeway noise. Check-in was speedy and courteous.

Our room was a two-room King suite (only about $8 more than their standard room when I was booking online). The bathroom (clean and well-stocked) and main closet were just inside the entry, then along one wall was a bar sink, mini-fridge, microwave, and small counter space. Further along was a counter with mirror, plug-ins, and lighting on the wall above with a chair; my wife enjoyed finishing getting ready for the day here, and I was glad we didn't have to share the primary bathroom space. On the other side is a table with two upholstered chairs, then a work desk and ergo chair. At the end of this section was a pull-out sofa and club chair. A gas fireplace was in the furthest corner, and a flat screen TV sat atop a dresser in the other corner.

On the other side of a wall from the TV was our bedroom with a very comfortable king bed - both sides had two pillows with cases labeled "soft" and "firm" making it easier to select the ones we'd like. What I actually wanted was a third pillow, and was glad to find an additional pillow waiting in the bottom drawer of our bedroom dresser. On top of this dresser was a second flat-screen TV; a small closet space completed the room.

The spacious room hosting the complimentary breakfast was downstairs adjacent to the elevator (handy for those lazy "let's hurry before they close" mornings) and looked out to the pool and jacuzzi (we didn't use either) and views of greenbelt behind that. The breakfast selection was very adequate: cold cereals (and instant hot cereal), both (!) low-fat and skim milk, yogurt, cold hard-boiled egges, hot scrambled eggs and sausage, french toast, a variety of breads for toasting, and four kinds of juice. The coffee was definitely above motel-average, and they had a nice selection of Stash teas, though not the English Breakfast my wife likes to enjoy :-(. Another guest asked the smiling hostess if they had trays to carry breakfast back to his room, and she quickly got one for him.

I would definitely stay here again if we needed to spend a night in the area.

I stayed for two nights last week while in the area for business. This was my first visit north of Seattle and I was impressed. Not only are the mountains a fabulous sight for a Texan like me, but the hotel staff treated me well too. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Apparently the hotel is under renovation so I'll be interested to see the improvements next time I'm up there.

This was a great hotel! When we arrived we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. The front desk agent (women) greeted us with a big smile and cookies. During our stay everyone was super nice. Our kids loved swimming in the indoor pool and the cinnamon rolls. You can guest were we hung out everyday. We were close to everything. This hotel is in a great location in Burlington.

We could not have asked for a better hotel!
