We ate here on a night when we stayed close to the SeaTac airport. It's a comfy, family-type place in a strip mall. We split the spanakopita, I had a gyro and my husband had pastitso. The prices are good and the food is good, not great. Service was delightful - our server was both efficient and pleasant. Wine was decent and inexpensive. Several tables had saganaki, which came to the table flaming in a very dramatic fashion. Definitely a great place for a family celebration, of which there seemed to be several while we were there.

This was our second visit to The Greek House and will definitely not be our last. We over-ordered on our first visit as we wanted to try so much. This time we weren't that hungry and narrowed it down just a bit to what are becoming our favorites. We were there for Happy Hour and wanted to try some of the Greek wines but weren't sure which ones. We were seated along the windows in the bar - more about that in a minute - and our bar tender/server was gracious enough to bring us samples of the red and white wines. We started with the Greek Dip Sampler, and all were flavorful and fresh. The hummus was chunky and not the typical creamy style but still very tasty and the pita was wonderful. We'd had the Octapodi previously and it was again some of the best we'd ever had - grilled and tender with fresh herbs, lemon and olive oil. My husband had enjoyed the falafel before so this time we split the falafel salad. Wonderful falafel, crisp on the outside, deliciousness inside. We didn't have much room for dessert but wanted to try the baklava and were so glad we did. Lots of warm syrup over the large nutty portion topped with whipped cream. Will explore the desserts more on the next trip. Everything is fresh, authentically prepared and enthusiastically served.
I took off a star for this visit because we were seated in the bar although we weren't there particularly for the Happy Hour. There seemed to be seating in the larger dining room but perhaps they were all reserved for later. It was kind of nice at first to be next to the window, off by ourselves. Within 15 minutes or so, the staff began pulling together tables for a group of 6 directly next to us. And I mean close. No one else was in that seating area; just the 2 of us and the group. It was a friendly and relatively quiet group but still within just inches of us. I might have liked an offer to move off to the side and we probably should have requested that. Although our server didn't forget us, the larger group clearly had some precedence in terms of his time and energy.
Really, so what? Next time we'll make sure we eat in the dining area. And we're definitely looking forward to the next visit.

Excellent Greek Restaurant. Portions are very large and you should not walk away hungry, I had the gyro plate and could hardly finish it ,

First time visiting, friendly staff attentive service good grub too.Had the avgolemono soup personally it is quite delicious. Lamb souvlaki was spiced just right and not over cooked with generous portions, enough leftovers for a meal the following day. Thanks to the cook & wait staff for a pleasant first visit. Will definitely be visiting again when in the area
