We've been going here every year when we are visiting from Australia. It's not posh, a quite cramped with only a few seatings BUT the food is to die for and Mr Berry is a real character. He serves huge helpings of BBQ ribs (and brisket) with all the sides. He does a great take away business as well which is just as well as we like to sit at one of his limited tables to eat so we can be regaled with stores from Mr Berry.

Great BBQ ri b, great price and Berry a great man. You get lots of food for money. Best BBQ in west seattle/Burine. We eat out 5 to 10 times a month cuz long work hours. So we kind know it when we taste food food.
Only thing i wish was that Berry make more desert.

Ordered the rib combo. For 13.95, I got enough ribs for two meals, along with some potato salad, beans, and a corn muffin. The beans tasted as though they had been liberally flavored with applesauce, and the potato salad was very mildly flavored. Neither were to my liking, but others may disagree. Corn muffin was pretty good.

The ribs were large and meaty, and were served wet, in a Memphis/Georgia style of slightly spicy, tomato-based sauce. They were well cooked and flavorful. The staff, including the owner, were friendly enough that I would live to have been able to stay and visit awhile.

I look forward to trying some of their other meats.

The restaurant is tiny, but the flavor is HUGE. Prices are very reasonable. What puts this place on top is Berry. I've been here 4-5 times and we get into these great conversations. What a great supplement to some wonderful barbecue, slaw, beans and potato salad.
