We stayed here for two nights, including the Fourth of July. I had requested an upper floor, and they gave us a corner room that was also handicapped-accessible, on the third floor. It was very large, with views in two directions (made for great viewing of fireworks on the night of the 4th). Only problem was that a family in the room immediately above us apparently had several children who enjoyed bouncing on the floor late at night. When I mentioned this after the first night, wondering if the family was staying on, the front desk rep said that the family was staying but that, due to our inconvenience, they'd comp us for the first night's room fare. Wow. I didn't ask for that and wasn't expecting it, but it was impressive.

Wi-Fi worked for us. Duvets weren't a problem since, as I recall, one could take them off or at least push them to the side. Free breakfast buffet was fine. Having a coin-operated washer and dryer was a plus, but there was only one machine, and people didn't always remove their clothes when they were done, so waits did result.

We ate at Anthony's, in the same building, twice. Hotel also suggested the nearby Bremerton Grill, but when they said their salmon at that time of year was farm-raised and Antony's was wild, my wife suggested we return to Anthony's.

Parking is in a covered underground garage. The garage is shared with Anthony's and perhaps other businesses. Spots for Hampton Inn customers are marked.

We did not walk anywhere from the hotel but the nearby waterfront area. We were in the area to look at homes, so always had place to go by car. As noted, the ferry dock is next door. Either the large car ferry to Seattle (a scenic one-hour trip we did take later) or the quick foot ferry to Port Orchard.

Room Tip: Get a corner room, ideally on the 4th (top) floor, is possible.

Pot is legal in WA and apparently used freely on my non smoking floor. Hall and room reeked of pot. Won't be staying there again without appropriate twinkie supply in hand. Complementary breakfast was hideous, powdered eggs and pasty sausage gravy. Fruit was from a can and juice was not recognized as any kind of former fruit.

Stayed here 7-18-2013. Hotel is right at the ferry dock, next door to Anthonys restaurant and the downtown waterfront. I checked in around 5pm and the front desk clerk really needed some help as the place was very busy and the phones were ringing. Checkin took some time. Room was better than most hampton's. went for a walk along the waterfront and was going to try Anthony's but found a BBQ shack that looked good. When i got back to my room i needed to do some email, but the connection kept dropping. When i called the front desk, the only suggestion was that they were full and it was probably overloaded. Given the harbor center next door, surely business people stay here and that shouldn't be a problem. If it is, they really need to fix it. They use duvets on the bed, so that the bed is very warm, requiring the AC to be blasting during the night. Only reason i gave this a good rating is because they had a paper bag breakfast (a muffin, apple, and water) since i was checking out before the breakfast. I don't know if the Fairfield would have ben any better, but it is a couple of blocks away.

I stay at this hotel several times a year when I am in town for work. While there are a few other hotels in the area, this one can not be beat for value, location and breakfast. Parking can be somewhat confusing but once you figure it out, it is good. There are plenty of decent places to eat within walking distance. Sadly, I haven't been able to do the tourist thing yet and enjoy the ferry to Seattle. If you are in town for work at the Shipyard this is the probably the best place to stay.

Room Tip: I have noticed that the wireless internet signal is better the closer you are to the breakfast/ loun...

We recently spent two nights at this Hampton Inn, which is conveniently located near the ferry dock. Be advised that there is a charge to park in their garage, if you wish to do that. The parking garage is just around the corner and does require a permit displayed to park there. Spaces in the garage are rather small, and elevator access to lobby often takes awhile. We were welcomed by a very friendly front desk staff, room was very nice and clean, also they have a small pantry store for snacks and drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the amenities at this hotel very much. The location was ideal for us, close to Seattle which was easily accessed by the nearby ferry, but not so bustling. We found we could relax after a hectic day in Seattle. We also enjoyed the access to the Olympic Peninsula by car, as well as some of the local attractions in Bremerton. One of our favorites was the Bonsai Museum, which we visited twice.

This was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed with. Thank you so much to a great staff and managers that helped get our family some rest and comfort during a difficult time with a family member in ICU at Harrison Medical center.
