The service was great & fast, for a busy place. We found the Breakfast to be the best.Hope your hungry. However the last couple times their country gravey has a funny flavor. Diffrent package or recipe. We have had a few other things off the menu its ok. Just Don't eat the pies the crust is...no words. Great homemade shakes. I love fat juicey hamburgers. Theirs are flat and have no flavor Over cooked. They do have fresh veggies on it. Hate to say it Mc D's are jucier. There must be a diffrent cook or new owner... same thing. We keep going back every few months hoping we will get the same old food.
The atmosphere is great (cute Nostalgic). It is very inviting, comfortable makes you want to come back. Best wishes it is a hit and miss.

Fifties themed, soda jerk, Happy Days style family restaurant with very large portions. Try their prime rib breakfast on the weekends! Reasonably priced, fresh salads, homemade everything.

typical diner. Food was fine; large portions; nothing outstanding, but a place to take little kids. Nothing to really say that was adverse.

The food is good, no complaints. The serving sizes always leave us stuffed to the gills! Staff is friendly and the place has a hometown feel.

I would have given this place three stars if it weren't for the ample portions served, the 50's diner atmosphere, and the fresh squeezed orange juice. If you sit at the back counter on a Sunday morning, you will get to witness the operation of the large orange juice machine.

Otherwise, it is simply good diner food. The breakfast dishes (omelettes, eggs, pancakes, waffles) are competent and are generously proportioned. The chicken fried steak is unremarkable, but you surely will not go away hungry.

It's definately the best joint of its kind in the area. If you're in the mood for Mexican you might try Juanito's, which is accross the street. It's some of the best meskin' food in Kitsap.
