“Cherry bread is to die for!”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

Really this bakery is the best in the Pacific NW - we go out of our way to stop by and stock up. Always friendly and I have never had anything there I did not like!

“Best Soups by far!”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

This little cafe has the best soups I have ever tasted. Whether it is their Pesole, African Peanut Soup or any other soups they make! I could live off their soups!

“Small:: surprise with big results”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

Sunny partly cloudy---folks at outside picknic tables---only seating for two tables of four inside.
Greeted by warm welcome---in front of case of cinnamon buns the size of softballs---and other
delights---gingerbread cookies the size of a small cowpie thick and chewey---Chalk-board
menue listed Pozole home made (No tripe) with smoked pork chunks, hominy, a small piece potatoe or two and yummy broth (To Die for)....Coffee/espresso available....Warning: Cash or Check (local) only. Quick service quality though small. Parking can be tight. A good place for bicyclers, motorcyclers, and families. Restroom behind counter must ask.

“wonderful!”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

Love this little place. We stop here every time I come to visit my friend who lives in Bow. Our last visit included hamburger buns from the bakery. Made with grass fed beef hamburger meat from the dairy down the road, they were as tasty as any gourmet burger I've had at a restaurant. Most of their breads are sourdough variants, and the buns were no exception but also included sunflower seeds and some whole wheat.
