Wish I bought more than just two loaves to bring home! A lovely bakery in a little nook in Edison. Worth the detour off I-5.

“If you like bread, you must go.”
Reviewed June 22, 2014

We were spending the weekend in the area and were going to Bellingham from Anacortes via the scenic route. When my wife spotted the Breadfarm Bakery we had to stop. That was good and bad. The good-amazing breads and pastries, an enthusiastic and friendly staff, and did I mention the amazing bread? The bad-you can only buy and eat so much at once. I'm already getting nervous about needing to drive the 2 1/2 hours back up there for more, even though we brought some home. It is that good. They also sell at the farmers markets in Anacortes and Bellingham and at some grocery stores in the area. If you are heading anywhere near there, do yourself a favor and get off of I-5, hit the backroads, and make a bread stop.

“Mre than the "Staff of Life"!”
Reviewed May 31, 2014

When I was a lad eighty years ago in San Jose, California, my maternal grandma had a regular delivery of San Francisco Sour French Bread. I was reminded of it when stopping recently at the Bread Farm Bakery, bought a loaf of multi-grained and have been enjoying it, toasted and buttered, of course. It is worth a stop any time!

“The olive baguette is the best bread ever”
Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

We went to a neighborhood potluck and someone brought one olive baguette. I had never heard of the Bread Farm so the following weekend we found the bakery and the small town of Edison. This was a very enjoyable drive and the bakery did not disappoint. When you get the chance have some Bread Farm bread!

“Quite the find off the beaten path”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

We were in the area to see tulips. Exploring the area we happened upon this amazing bakery. I would recommend a stop here. Small space but an amazing selection. French baguettes. Artisanal breads. Pastries. Cookies. Not a dine in place. Really a bakery.
