This is a great half-way spot for east-side suburb/ex-urb dwellers to meet up with Seattle friends at.
The food is solid and enjoyable, but mostly not mind-blowing in my experience (still, the prices are excellent for being a "foodie" sort of destination & the large portion sizes). The grounds are lovely (even if the overall part of town it's in is a bit marred by construction and traffic).
I've been here twice for breakfast and once for dinner (the most recent of these being breakfast yesterday morning). For breakfast, I most enjoyed their brioche French toast (Amazing!). That said, I had dinner there sometime last fall or winter and it probably says something that I don't even remember what I ordered...
Minor gripe: the parking situation is confusing. There are plenty of spots, but there's also a valet service, and it's not intuitive when the valet service is available, how to make use of it, or why you would even want to.
Bottom line, this place hits positive marks on all the important things: food, service, location, ambiance, and price; I'll definitely be back. When the weather is nice, it would be fun to try out dining here in their outdoor seating.
