“Worth a stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

A forty acre park, half American and half Canadian, with magnificent gardens dedicated to peace, right on the shoreline. The review2er "Yog-Sothoth" calls the arch a portico on stilts, but that means the rest of his review is based on his lack of perceptioon and understanding. It's a concrete arch 62 feet highand 60 feet wide at the bse, hardly on stilts. It's really worth a stop. Free parking on the Canadian side. The US side has a day-use fee since it's part of the state park system. Or just let your kids out if you're in a long line-up, as once in the prk you cn go into either side without customs clearance.

“Nothing to See Here”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

You'll really just pass through here when crossing the border. The actual "arch" is more of a portico on stilts. There are more spectacular sights as you continue into the Coastal Mountains.

“Peaceful Day at the Peace Arch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

When we travel into Canada we usually just pass on by, but the day was so beautiful, we just had to park the car and walk around the park. The Peace Arch is incredibly beautiful! It's so amazing just walking through it and enjoying the beautiful garden on the Canadian side. You can see the ocean and feel the cool breeze. There's also more to see if you go up on the hill. Unique sculptures, beautiful plants, and many places to hang out like gazebos and park benches. Definitely packing a picnic lunch next time and spending more time at the park!

“Go there all the time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2012

We walk our dogs here almost every day. Beautifully landscaped with great views of the ocean. Usually not crowded unless a special event is going on. Just makes one wonder why all those people are waiting to cross the border when they could have got Nexus. If you are one of them, please turn off your engine while waiting.
