Went here to try to find a good pizza joint. Haven't had this style of pizza in a lot of years. Ordered the uno Chicago style for two. Crust was biscuit like and flakey with a slight taste of cornmeal. Vegetables were fresh tasting and sausage was good quality. Shared a small spinach salad which just enough to Whet our appetites. Lauren our waitress was very helpful and informative about the menu items. Fast service and friendly staff. We'll return and try their Detroit style pizza. Things I would modify? Maybe a way for the juice to flow out of the pizza without making the crust soggy. A nice carafe of house wine from a local winery, something with a modest price but a huge compliment to the pizza sauce.

We were really excited to have a new restaurant to try in Fairhaven. It's very clean and modern inside and we were seated right away, only a couple other tables occupied on a Monday night. We expected some hiccups having only been open a short time and there were mess ups on two out the four orders but they remedied their mistakes eventually to our satisfaction. The biggest drawback (and this is big for a pizza place) is the crust. We ordered the Detroit crust which is supposed to be thinner than the Chicago style deep dish. We were not expecting a thin crust but this was still breadier than any other crust in town by far. If Wonder bread made a pizza crust this is what I think it would be like. Simply all bread and minimal toppings. We might go back and try a salad or sandwich but there are many other better places to get pizza in Bellingham.

We took our family to Fat Pie Pizza for the first time during lunch time. First off let me say this place needs something for the younger kids to color on and some crayons. I was told they had stuff for older kids to play with. My kids 3 1/2 and you can't get crayons and some paper? This is important b/c for deep dish you have to wait 30 minutes from the time you order. I found the red sauce to be seriously heavy on the garlic. So much so that I could smell it coming out coming out of my pores for the next 24 hours! I think we'd go back but bring lots of stuff for my kid to play with to pass the time. We were the only people with kids there but it was lunch time. I think I'd get the slice of pizza and salad for lunch instead of a whole pizza. Probably a good way to try different kinds. They do have an elevator to the second floor which is nice + outdoor seating area and a rooftop area. I think management should know that the young server told us that the restaurant recommends that we have at last 3 toppings. Now, That's just not right. We've had our fair share of Chicago Deep Dish Pizza and nothing is wrong with just cheese or pepperoni and cheese. Regardless of what the restaurant thinks it's bad business for the staff to be telling people that. Bet Lou Malnati's would never do that! Sounds like your trying to get the people to spend more money. Please get rid of the small 2 person table that everyone has to walk by to get into the main seating area on the second floor. Way too tight and who would want to sit at the 2 person table or the 4 person table across from it with that being the only entry/exit area besides the small aisle through the bar?
