“Charming beyond expectations!”

I too am looking for a reason to return! We stayed only one night but it was the best of our trip! Greeted warmly upon arrival in an inviting and historic-like building (new but built to fit into the charm of the historic area). Our room was impeccable, large and so comfy! Loved having a fireplace and sofa, balcony and well-appointed bathroom. Everything was a breeze! Very close to the Alaska Ferry too. Visit the book store across the street, and eat lunch at the Skylark. :)

I was blown away by this boutique hotel in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham! Perfect location, fabulous room , great breakfast, wonderful atmosphere, and all around great little hotel. A block away from old town Bellingham and shopping and dining. It was nice not have to fumble around with the thermostat to get the right temperature. The air was on and the room was at and stayed at the perfect temperature. Beautiful bathroom, nice beds, large flat screen and just a very feeling. And there's an 2nd floor outdoor patio with a view. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Fairhaven Village Inn before and after boarding a water taxi to Orcas Island at the terminal down the street. The location was great not only for boarding the taxi, but also for spending some time in lovely downtown Fairhaven which offers interesting shopping and a variety of good restaurants and a nearby nature trail.
The entire Inn was pleasant and clean and offered such amenities as a library with games and books and toys for our grandchild and always coffee brewing, a breakfast included, and a lovely garden deck on which we enjoyed the scenery and reading the newspaper.
The staff was most accomodating both by phone before we arrived and while we were there.
A great stay!

Room Tip: You can choose a room with a water view and balcony for a little extra.

My daughter and I were really impressed with the very friendly service and impeccable rooms. Had a nice bay view, albeit over rooftops. Super central with a great Mexican place, Jalapenos, around the corner. Waking distance from the harbour; went on a lovely sunset sail aboard the Gato Verde; sign was at hotel desk.
Lovely breakfast and parking included. Great pillows! If I were to change anything it would the plastic insert Bathtub/showers and change them to a tiled tub; would make for a bigger tub.
Otherwise awesome!

Room Tip: Bay view is good, tho there is train coming by regularly.

Went to a wedding in Bellingham and stayed at the Fairhaven Village Inn. Everything was great. The cookies in the afternoon were yummy along with the staff and our room. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Our room was quite comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the Fairhaven district and strolling the waterfront trails. The breakfast in the morning is fine. I would have liked to see more fresh fruit but thats a small thing. The waffles were good and the other choices seemed okay. My husband is gluten free so the options were a bit limited (there was one cereal choice), but we have learned to deal with that. My biggest disappointment was the fact there is no refrigerator in the room! There was plenty of ice available but it would have been so much easier to have a small refrigerator in the room. That being said I would return again. I am almost looking for another reason to return to Bellingham just so we can stay here again!

Room Tip: Water side rooms get noise from the trains and all those seagulls. Keeping the slider shut takes ca...

Very pleasant surprise finding the Village Inn. Booked over the Internet direct with the Inn and immediately received a confirmation and advice as to how to get there and what to do should we get there late. Rooms immaculately clean, lots of little extras that made the stay very comfy, amazingly helpful and cheerful staff. We were disappointed to leave after just one night. Fairhaven is also worth strolling through - very pretty little town - you could do a lot worse than stay here while awaiting the ferry to Alaska.

My sister and I stayed at the Fairhaven Village Inn for two nights and it was spectacular. The staff is really amazing at making you feel comfortable and having every need taken care of. The rooms are very pleasing, peaceful, and elegant and they even give you cookies, coffee, lemon water, and a nice breakfast in the morning. Fairhaven is the best neighborhood in Bellingham so next time you are in need of a great place to stay at the Fairhaven Village Inn. Cheers!

Room Tip: Rooms on the east side have view of Fairhaven Green and rooms on the west side have view of the Bell...
