“Tasty but Costly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

The pies taste homemade and warm you up on a cool day. Good crust and multiple choices of filling. But the price is on the high side .

“Perfectly messy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

Its a drippy delicious mess, which is exactly what one would expect from a pie served with extra gravy. The crust was flaky, the lamb flavorful and, quite frankly, it was finger-licking good. The ~$10 value proposition was well met and while I wanted to try one of the dessert pies, that just wasn't going to happen: the one pie sticks to the ribs and is quite filling.

“Delicious pot pies”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

Yummy and quick - best pot pie I've had in a long time! A few veggie options, several different protein options and of course the classic chicken! Definitely worth stopping in for lunch, dinner or a late night snack. Can also get unbaked pies to take home with you.

“"Meat" pie? Not so much.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

I have been reluctant to eat from this shop because I heard they put potatoes and carrots in the meat pies. As anybody knows who has ever eaten a real meat pie, say in Australia or New Zealand, meat pies do not contain chunks of vegetables. (Well, perhaps they sell potato or carrot pies in those countries, but I have just never tried one?) Nevertheless, I got tempted to try the place by a DealSaver pay $5, get $10 offer. I got the "beef" pie. While the crust was indeed good, and the meat-flavored gravy was okay, my $8 pie was mostly chunks of potato and carrot. The few chunks of meat in my "meat" pie would have totalled under one ounce. If you visit this restaurant wanting to get an $8 potato and carrot pie with beef gravy, then order the "beef" pie, and you will not be disappointed. At least they didn't put onion chunks in the pie ...

The counter girl was very pleasant.
