“Fun for the little ones!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

This was well worth getting the little ones out and about. Got them up to the ocean and lots of nice park for them to run and play! The walk way was also nice.

“Wonderful view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Unique rocks to climb and watch the surf for the moderately sure footed. View from above worth it if you can't, or are not inclined to manage the short hike.

“A quiet corner by the sea!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

The drive from Bellingham to the parking lot the allows you to access Clayton Beach is beautiful. The trail is an east walk down to the beach and we go any time during the year. If it's cool you can locate your chairs in the protection of the cliffs and still catch some sun. It is seldom over crowded. A great place to bring your beach chair and a book and toys for the kids.l

“Clayton Beach closed to foot traffic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

The foot path has just been closed by the WA State Park Commission siting private property concerns, something to do with unregulated railroad crossing on the path...

“Overcrowded beach”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

This beach was overcrowded when I visited mid summer. There was trash on the little bit of beach that wasn't covered in rock. The view was also not good. There is a long hike before getting to the beach with lots of mud holes. Would not reccomend.
