Beautiful trails to walk and run. Not much needed to cover here:shade, moss, old cedar and Douglas Fir, waterfalls and bridges. Wonderful everyday of the year in sun or rain.

Whether you need to get away for an hour or a day, this is the place for you. Once you're in the park it's hard to imagine that it's so close to town. While walking among giant trees you follow Whatcom Creek viewing many spectacular water falls along the way. A well maintained trail make it easy for people of all ages to enjoy. Also, if you're into viewing fish, there is as trout hatchery adjacent to the falls. Would highly recommend.

This is a gem! There are forested trails, a creek, a fish hatchery, lawns and tennis courts all just feet away from neighborhoods and even a mini-market. This is a very popular space for locals who enjoy walking, picnicking, swimming and just enjoying the wilderness setting without a long drive.

We only did a search for the town because we were staying overnight to do a whale tour. This was the best surprise ever! It is beautiful and you could walk and explore around forever. Hidden treasure. Favorite part was watching locals jump into the hidden lagoon. Would definitely stop again. Totally free too!

We did this as a side trip - recommended by some travel book and boy are we glad we stopped. Beautiful waterfall, lovely woods, trails everywhere. You could walk down near the stream and it was simply lovely. Parking ample - don't miss this during your trip
