“A beautiful trail system worth exploring.”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

This is a lovely park with trails winding through a woody area near down town Bellingham. A river runs through the middle of this system of trails, which drops off at various levels creating tiers of falls. I enjoy walking and running and biking Whatcom Falls during any season of the year both with friends or solo. The tall trees and sound of the river create a relaxing atmosphere for those looking to wind-down. There are several good swimming locations along the river as well.

“Whatcom Falls-A tranquil retreat almost in the middle of town”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Tranquil wooded park with many trails and a lovely WPA historical stone bridge. A salmon hatchery is adjacent to the parking lot along with newer children's play equipment. The Falls keep us coming back!

“Beautiful Place”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

One of the reasons we moved here was this place. We were here on vacation and stumbled on this place. The "WPA" bridge is awesome. The fish hatchery is very cool. The park is usually very clean. The whole park is very nice. I think it's at it's best in the spring and fall. Summer is can get a bit crowded.

This park has several smaller waterfalls, a stone bridge, and plenty of trails for hiking. It is pet friendly too!
